Okay, I can't take it anymore, I have to find out ...... what in the world does BBM stand for? Doesn't say much for my sleuthing abilities, granted, but what does it mean[emoji849] Anyone?

BBM is an acronym for Bolded By Me. We bold a certain section of text to emphasise it. This is often done when quoting from an MSM article, not only to emphasise a certain section but to show that it wasn't bolded in the original text and that the poster has bolded it.

Probably the biggest red flag so far upon reflection is VR's statement this week.

That Karen has gone overseas for business not once but many times and maybe hiding overseas.

Why say that?, knowing it can be quickly verified by the Aus feds, and probably Dfat.

Exactly. Classic red herring.

Thanks Phil. I'll take another look tomorrow. From subsequent posters, it seems it's around the time Chris is just about to answer the question regarding the phone call AR made to Karen 10 days before she went missing; yes?

To me, it seemed that they had discussed what they would talk about, prior to the interview, and then the reporter had to prompt Chris with certain questions. Chris seemed to have a couple of "oh, that's right, I said I'd mention that" moments.

I recall having this feeling when I first watched the ACA video.

Exactly Unit45, and remember his first intelligent quote early in the investigation, 'Karen if your still alive ring us', now suddenly it's she's fled to China or the US :banghead:

IMO the biggest red flag in VR's statement this week was "...and she wont be coming back.".

VR has not been named a POI and nor have any of the family members for that matter, so we do have to be careful to abide by Websleuth's rules in regard to family members. BUT VR has made some outrageous claims in MSM, along with AR and BR and for that alone they are fair game IMO.

And as strange as it may seem both VR and AR are telling a very similar story.

Couldn't agree more Makara, especially when their comments bounce around more then a tennis ball at the Australian Open

Channel9 is calling Borce a person of interest.

July 27, 2016: The husband of missing mum Karen Ristevski is reportedly no longer cooperating with police and remains a person of interest in the investigation.

Technically what are the police naming as POI?

Technically what are the police naming as POI?

The way things are at the moment there could be at least four POI that I can think of off the top of my head.

Technically what are the police naming as POI?

A person of interest (POI) is someone who the police feel is able to assist them in their investigation. A suspect is someone who police feel is directly involved in the crime. It's a bit of a grey area at times though. Someone may be named a POI by police and all the while they are considered a suspect but until further evidence comes to hand they remain a POI.

ETA: Police are under no obligation to actually name a POI or a suspect in MSM unless of course they are a danger to the public.

I am still completely open to the theory that Karen is alive and well and in hiding. Anyone else.....?

No, sadly, I don't inky.

As time goes on I'm starting to think she has been murdered instead of suicide also.

Yes, sleep, they are and it makes me wonder why. Why would VR be 'backing' AR's explanation that Karen had 'run off' and was hiding in China or America; never to return? Did BR ever say anything like that or to the contrary?

My opinion hasn't changed much from my initial thoughts. Despite the noise caused by others in the family.
I think Karen was murdered too. And I feel very sad for Sarah.

Initially I believed that to be the case; however, it's been too long now ... one of my feelings is that she was taking some time out to gather her thoughts and de-stress, but then when her financial issues were made public that tipped her over the edge and she felt she couldn't return. As a proud person (which we've been led to believe she is/was), she would've no doubt been mortified at this.

My other thought/feeling from the start was that VR is very much involved in her disappearance - there is just something about him that makes me shudder. His weird comments (first, that the police had questioned someone else when they confirmed they hadn't; then more recently that he thought she'd gone to HK or the US) don't help either.
