BR told his family that Karen could have been taken by "an evil stranger". What else has he told them? How did the media find out?
Seems as though Karen's aunt told the Herald Sun.

Could it be Borce's father that Karen was going to get a loan from?

It is understood that husband Borce has told family members that the 47-year-old could have been snatched by an evil predator.
The new theory comes amid fears from Karen’s aunt that her niece has been murdered and “discarded like a piece of rubbish”.

Could have been leaked to media by a member of KRs family, Could be first signs of dissent between the two parties.
Dissent between the parties is the best thing right now. Karens aunt appears to pulling away her support. This is what is needed.
I'm noticing Karens disappearance is on all major news stations now.
It's heating up
The pressures on.
LE knows exactly what happened.
They need to find Karen soon before a lot of the DNA disappears.
Of course she'll have Borce's DNA on her, he is her husband.
Remember Allison Baden-Clay was found only 11 days after her death and forensics could not identify the DNA under her nails.

What I'd like to know is... how is BR paying for his attorney?

I would think that is what the Police would want, someone will crack and spill the beans.
There was a comment earlier that this lawyer does take on high profile cases pro bono
