BR told his family that Karen could have been taken by "an evil stranger". What else has he told them? How did the media find out?

Seems as though Karen's aunt told the Herald Sun.

Could it be Borce's father that Karen was going to get a loan from?

Good thought. It certainly could be, if he is still around. That might cause difficulties with a husband, too. If the husband is proud and doesn't want his wife to ask his father for money or assistance.

Could have been leaked to media by a member of KRs family, Could be first signs of dissent between the two parties.

It is understood that husband Borce has told family members that the 47-year-old could have been snatched by an evil predator.
The new theory comes amid fears from Karen’s aunt that her niece has been murdered and “discarded like a piece of rubbish”.

I feel this could start to get a bit nasty, what with one side hiring a high profile silk and the other side defending KRs name and honour.

Dissent between the parties is the best thing right now. Karens aunt appears to pulling away her support. This is what is needed.

Thanks for the welcome.

I would think that is what the Police would want, someone will crack and spill the beans.

I'm noticing Karens disappearance is on all major news stations now.

It's heating up
The pressures on.
LE knows exactly what happened.

They need to find Karen soon before a lot of the DNA disappears.
Of course she'll have Borce's DNA on her, he is her husband.

Remember Allison Baden-Clay was found only 11 days after her death and forensics could not identify the DNA under her nails.

Possible. Thoughts Steve Richardson?

I don't know anything about their finances only what I have read so I can't speculate re BR's father getting approached for a loan. Karen overall I think was a private person so I am guessing not many would have
known much about their personal finances.

Unless Karen has injuries that can be attributed to a particular perpetrator or vice versa. God, please don't let this be a case where circumstantial evidence is the only thing the prosecution can base a case upon. Please let there be forensic evidence or a co-conspirator and/or witness to the crime who spills the beans. Otherwise, it could take years for Karen and her family to get justice.

I've always been of the mind to 'follow the money'; particularly in Karen's case. I think The Australian came close but no cigar (well AFAIK, police may know differently) when it came to their recent report on the family's finances. What we need to ask ourselves is who is the 'high flyer', who is the family's 'father figure', who would Karen ask for a loan if she (and BR) were private people? I know who I'm looking at if there's kernel of truth to this story.

What I'd like to know is... how is BR paying for his attorney?

There was a comment earlier that this lawyer does take on high profile cases pro bono

If Karens stoic aunt and relatives start showing distrust and disdain towards Borce Inc. then that should further upset Sarah and then that will upset Borce. Ahhh a chain reaction in progress. :D

I'm guessing Borce's wigs are kneading Sarah to keep her onside.

That was me. I was talking about Rob Stary himself; not sure about the woman from Stary's firm who BR has representing him at the moment. Her name escapes me...Katarina Ljubocic.
