Your wife (supposobly) leaves the home following an argument and the daughter says that prior to her leaving "she just went ballistic" yet you take her car 30 minutes after she has gone to calm down and her car isn't there when she returns and she is wanting to go to work well hello she is going to go ballistic again. Yes another car was there but were the keys to it?
If I am having an argument over finances with a partner and she has gone off to cool down I am not taking the car out
to get a broken gauge looked at to get brownie points from her, maybe go and buy some flowers to make her feel better but repair a car gauge????

Maybe - if anyone can work out what this is..

Looks like where the power or phone line goes to the house.

I stepped outside, its a connection to the power pole.

Is that an alarm on the left side?

Could be, but they don't usually have 'an arm' do they? They are usually attached to the roof or under the eve I thought.

I've definitely seen them on an arm before. Maybe we have an electrician here who could answer more definitely.

That's a 2 hour window from when she left, if she returned wanting to go to work after an hour and then had to wait an hour before her car came back well hello she is going to go ballistic again. Yes another car was there but were the keys to it?

I can never tell if the moment Karen supposedly "went ballistic" happened during an argument the day before or that morning?

Had a look at some random photos on google street view. Definitely power to house.

Unless you needed to cool off too. (If she was still alive) you might have felt like pissing her off by being out when she came back in.

I wonder if the police ever checked cctv from that Bunnings store that the Ant went to ?

If Borce went up the Calder fwy the night before?

Was the trip the next morning trying to throw off investigators, telling them Karen left at 10am.

Though he doesnt admit this until recently.

So if Borce thinks Karen was abducted by an evil stranger.....
she left their house at 10am undetected by neighboring CCTV,
walked presumably along the walking tracks by the river (due to no witnesses or CCTV),
was abducted by evil stranger into a vehicle somehow/somewhere without anyone seeing,
then either herself and her phone or just her phone were somewhere around Gisborne hours later.

I don't think he had any plans to admit it but was caught out with information that his phone was able to give police about just where he'd been.

I have been thinking today about the gps unit in Karen's Mercedes.

When the device restarts it must show history of trips or locations?

I don't know how old the car is, but being a Merc have the latest.

I think the "went ballistic" refers to the morning but can't confirm that. The only thing I can confirm is what the Aunty said "the search has turned into a circus". Not the police search but rather the comments from certain people which is hindering the search not assisting it. You couldn't sell the story so far as a script to Hollywood as too much reported is too unbelievable even for movie goers to believe. Maybe the abduction by an "evil stranger" could be used in a comedy script but the rest no.

The circus so far's only benefit to the cause is acting as an education guide on 'what not to do' for anyone thinking about having someone disappear:
Don't go asking for cctv coverage from a neighbour on the day your wife goes missing when you haven't as yet reported to police your wife is missing.
Don't report an exact amount of cash your wife went missing with in her bag.
Don't say the police have said not to talk to the media when that wasn't the situation.
Don't go quiet on talking to the media who are trying to piece together where your wife could be.
Don't have a brother making outlandish comments.
Dont employ a top legal person when no arrest has been made.
Don't forget in first statement to police to mention you took your wife's car for a drive while she was out cooling down.
Don't come out saying an evil person kidnapped your wife.
Don't say nothing when a reporter asks did you kill your wife
Don't look as though you are not overly concerned with the situation.
Don't take your missing wife's mobile phone and your own together for a ride in your car
Don't say your finances are fine when the reason your wife went missing was due to that situation.
Don't say nothing to refute outlandish claims by someone close to you
Don't have broken cctv at home
Don't talk to the media early on making it sound as though your making it up as you go.

I think you just about hit the nail on the head there, Steve. Thank you.

I'll bet Ant's next door neighbours are having a field day with all this happening.......I sure am relieved that I am not one of them.....I wouldn't be able to sleep at night lol.....I would imagine that none of their houses have cctv as they are quite older style houses as shown in the ACA interview.
Did we ever find out if Sarah works or does she go to Uni?.....I cannot imagine how she is coping.....Sincerely hope that she has some strong support around her (so sad).
When I saw the ebay store ads on Ant's FB re athletic clothes, I had to look twice, as I thought this may be the start of him cleaning up his act to get healthy (NOT)...MOO.:what:
