He may have been elsewhere and just checked in as part of his alibi. You dont actually have to be close to the location.

Surely that would become apparent when mobile data is checked though...

Going back to AR's hand injury.

Apart from his claim.

Its looks a fairly dark colour, so im assuming a fairly hard knock to it.

I can't put that to smashing on the side of the couch.

Karen Ristevski 'shared in father's inheritance' months before disappearance

The *Supreme Court approved the application for the will in May last year but documents did not show when Mrs Ristevski received her share.

Family lawyer George James Bouhalis told News Corp that the money was paid before the end of 2015. Born in South Africa, Mr Williams died aged 78 with an estate of $368,492. His will was reportedly written in 1993, leaving his estate to his wife Rosemary who subsequently died.

Missing woman Karen Ristevski inherited from father

The Australian12:00AM August 30, 2016

Missing Melbourne woman Karen Ristevski shared in a $360,000 inheritance from her father months before she went missing, adding another layer of mystery to her disappearance and suspected death.

Mrs Ristevski and her brother, who has asked not to be identified, were beneficiaries of her *father’s will, after he died in *December 2014, leaving the pair as the only people to benefit from the estate.

An application for the will was approved by the Victorian *Supreme Court in May last year, but it is not clear when Mrs Ristevski received her share. Sources close to the family believe proceeds were distributed early this year but lawyer George James Bouhalis, who has long acted for Mrs Ristevski and her husband Borce, said the money was paid before the end of 2015.

Court documents lodged on May 6 last year show Mrs Ristevski and her Melbourne-based brother applied to obtain probate of the will of their father, Joseph Williams. The application, handled by Mr Bouhalis, was *approved within two weeks.

Williams, who was born in South Africa, died aged 78 with an estate of $368,492. In the will, written in 1993, Williams left the estate to his wife, Rosemary, who subsequently died. In that case, according to the will, his assets were to be converted into cash and equally divided between Mrs Ristevski and her brother, after funeral and legal expenses were paid for.

Her father requested that Mrs Ristevski keep his jewellery.

Maybe. Then she should have said "dad said she went ballistic", just my thinking if she wasn't there.

That's my impression of what she said too, that she had heard it second hand.

There were photo's in the first Herald Sun article about AR - one looks a bit discoloured the others don't.

He points to a blue, swollen hand, an injury he says he got from punching the side of his couch in a moment of anxiety.

I'm confused.

I'll find the link that says Karens father died and left it all to Karens mum who then passed and must have left it to the two siblings.
If it was from her mothers estate then why doesn't MSM state that.
