Unit after having a few light refreshments, your telling the story ........please tell me who has been shielded??

More so, im examing the story being embellished.

I look at what is not being thrown into the limelight by LE, thats all.

I see into this thats all.

SR is not talking.

Anyone catch ACA , all tvs taken over here ! I'm guessing it's going to be about the inheritance??

You missed the bit where they interviewed the girl that made Karen's coffee and asked her what she liked, did I get 'skinny latte' might be wrong, also they showed her florist holding a bunch of flowers Karen liked apparently. The lady at the fruit stand ended the show by saying how frightening it is that you can go for a walk and just disappear. I think those were the highlights.

I also think that the police will be keeping Sarah out of the limelight. They have children, too. They know how their children would feel if their mother suddenly disappeared, in suspicious circumstances, and their father was under the spotlight. No need to add to Sarah's trauma, if it is not necessary.
And that is why I believe we know nothing about Sarah's movements that day, or the night before. In fact, we know very little about Sarah at all.
But I bet the police know all they need to know about her.

So AR didn't get a mention ?

Yes I agree. Who knows how she is coping, terribly one would expect. At this stage she is an unwilling victim in all of this.

Nup. It's dark, I'm scared and I want to go home now. And the fuel gauge in my Google car isn't working. :scared: Need to find myself a bump to fix it.
:laughcry: :floorlaugh: I'm dying here

I actually think Sarah knows exactly what happened now, I'm not sure why she seems to be supporting her dad though, could be denial, but it looks more like she's sided with him.

I think most of us would protect our 21 year old daughter if her mother had disappeared and media were swarming everywhere, and our child did not want to be confronted by the media. Sarah is legally an adult, but 21 is still pretty darn young. Not all 21 year olds are outgoing and publicly speak well etc.
She did her stint in front of a hostile media. She did her radio interview. She has looked for support from the Missing Persons organisation. She has contacted all of her mother's friends. And now she is sticking by her father as he is put under a cloud of suspicion.

If she knows something, I hope she has revealed it confidentially to the police. But I can sort of understand her behaviour, for a 21 year old 'only child'.

Maybe deep down she knows he is guilty but doesn't want to even let her mind go there. To lose both parents would be unimaginable. Hopefully Karen's aunt and other family members are ready to pick up the pieces.

Yes, maybe because SR was the perpetrator.

runs in hiding.

A new news article from The Courier Mail, from tonight.

What I find interesting is publishing one of AR's rants from Facebook. It's not even part of the story, yet there is the photo. Why ?

His claim that he saw Mrs Ristevski leave the house cannot be corroborated by any other witnesses and he has since stated that security cameras at the family property stopped working months before his wife went missing.

So has Borce convinced Sarah he's being unfairly blamed or does she know more? That's the question isn't it?

  • #134
OK I'm calling it now. Borce murdered Karen after Sarah left for work.
Nobody needed to hear anything because he strangled her.

Will mobile phone ‘pings’ lead police to the body of Karen Ristevski?
news.com.au
August 30, 2016 6:23pm

'The investigation took another sensational turn at the weekend when the Herald Sun revealed that “pings” from Mr and Mrs Ristevski’s respective mobile phones had been detected by transmitter towers along Melbourne’s Calder Highway on June 29, the day of her disappearance.

Mrs Ristevski’s mobile phone was reportedly tracked near Gisborne, 40km northwest of the family home.'

'The data also revealed that Mr Ristevski’s mobile phone was switched off for about two hours that day.

The new leads have led detectives to concentrate their search on rural areas in Melbourne’s north west.

Detectives have taken CCTV footage from 60 cameras at two service stations at Calder Park and are also studying video from Toolern Vale General Store because of its proximity to the ping detected at Diggers Rest.'

'From the moment his wife vanished, Borce Ristevski has been the focus of police questioning.'

'It has emerged that there are a number of inconsistencies in Mr Ristevski’s version of events.'

'According to the Herald Sun, when he was initially questioned about his movements on June 29, he failed to mention that he had taken his wife’s 2004 Mercedes Benz for a drive down the Calder Hwy in order to “assess a faulty fuel gauge”.

He later told police that the problem had fixed itself after the car hit a bump in the road and that he subsequently turned around and went home.

The Australian reported that Mr Riestevski told police he went for a drive just half an hour after his wife walked out of the house and was on the road from 10.30am until about midday.

The paper also claimed Mr Ristevski received a request to work from ride-sharing company Uber but was unable to confirm whether he accepted the job.

His claim that he saw Mrs Ristevski leave the house cannot be corroborated by any other witnesses and he has since stated that security cameras at the family property stopped working months before his wife went missing.'

Yes, I agree with all this.
Unless she has something that definitely points to her dad though, it is probably to her economic and emotional advantage to support her father. Less shake-up to the life she knows.
If he is taken from her because he is guilty, she will be forced to deal with it all then.

Yes that's probably it, round two started up again once Sarah had left and it ended in murder. Did the shop call around 10am which prompted the disposal? Most likely.

  • #139
Do we know that Sarah still lived with her parents?

Going to read between the lines here, for you to decide.

Who's been shielded from the media in certain ways?

Who Unit? There's a couple I can think of.
