That could be an excuse that BR might use if he can think of it, or reads along here.

Hypothetically, BR and SR know who did it and why(say money owed) but are are afraid to speak as their life will be in danger.

In that case charging them for cover up would not make much sense unless police can 100pcnt guarantee their safety which is impossible.

One would think that if BR was innocent the police would have come out and said he is not a suspect.

I think he either did it or knows who did it whether that be a Family member or some sort of hit!

They don't need to come out and say he isn't a suspect, they have never said he was - it was his own solicitor.

Did it say what she studied as that might have enabled her to take a heavy load off Karen. Many children work in the family business and are groomed to eventually take over. The MSM article said she was promoted a manager and worked since 2010.

I think it's great to have a reliable family member involved, let's face it, who else can you trust? :D

....and someone gets away with murder.

I have not read anywhere that police have stated AR is Innocent?

Police have been quoted as saying that AR was not a suspect in Karen's disappearance (the word murder wasn't used as her remains hadn't been discovered yet).

"A media outlet revealed that law enforcement officials were interrogating the missing woman’s husband as well as his estranged son, Anthony Rickard. Police suspected his dealings with stepmother Ristevski, but further confirmed that Rickard had no involvement in her disappearance." (BBM)

Yes thanks, i realise what the police have said but police do use certain strategies in criminal investigations and things aren't always what they seem until its a done deal and someone is arrested and charged. It has happened in other criminal cases i have followed and one i can think of is Lonzie Barton;s case, where LE stated his mother Lonna Lauramore Barton was not a suspect in her son's disappearance, and as the investigation progressed she is now in prison for lying to police about her involvement. That is why i say things are not always what they seem and the way in which police & msn portrays things. All IMO

I know that they haven't named him as a suspect but if they didn't believe he did it or had knowledge of who did wouldn't they cut him a break and announce this? IMO the majority of the public have BR as the number 1 suspect in this, which would be incredibly stressful...

Well, its obvious that LE is still struggling to come up with solid evidence against br, it possible he just didn't do it and he is scared to cooperate with cops. In that case somebody will get away with murder but what's alternative?

What if BR goes to cops and say something to the effect
'look, you can investigate as much as you want, im innocent, you'll never be able to link me to KR murder as i didn't do it BUT i know who did it and why but i can't give you more details as my family will be wiped off and you guys can't offer me protection 24 7 365 for every member of my family for the rest of our lives'

What would cops do in that case? Let him off the hook...?

I think LE can usually state the last known person to see a victim is a POI/suspect. Just because they state this doesn't always make it true, and in some cases turns out the POI/suspect isn't the perpetrator. I think BR's lawyer probably explained that to him. He may or may not be the perp. All IMO.

Regarding their financial position, I don't quite believe it was all that bad. If there was real financial strife , wouldn't BR have been working . We heard that he used to go into Bella Bleu store occasionally , had an über job. Sounds like he was just filling in time. Or maybe something else was earning him money that the public aren't aware of. Maybe that's why cctv footage in coburg was relevant, maybe that's why the burnt out jacks wine bar in toolern vale was relevant.
And another thing how the hell could someone conveniently find two fallen logs that big with a cradle like centre which comfortably fit and concealed Karen without needing to dig . Was that just sheer luck or planned resting spot for her. Or was that an interim spot which remained a permanent spot b/c killer/s weren't able to return b/c they had been seen and realised phones were tracked ?

Do we know how old BK is? and also where AR's mother is?

Probably not - They haven't named anyone as POI or Suspect, keeping BR in the public eye keeps the pressure off someone else. If they have their eye's on someone else they don't need to know.

We don't know if 'they' even exist. This is just a theory people are throwing around at this stage.

Well she made contact with ZH for AR's sons birthday. Sounds like she doesn't get to see the kids much either.
