I still think she must have been a younger girl (as explained above), so the husband thing doesn't work IMO. I didn't realize that the shirt had actual ribbons attached until watching Wanted. This leads me even more towards that she was a younger/teen girl because it's more something a girl would wear than an adult.

It is very creepy - that 'Please be careful' sign gives me chills each time I see it.

What is written on the yellow signs a bit further down the road? I've never been there, not sure I would want to visit.

I remember when they first found Angel, but I hadn't seen the sketch. My first words to my husband were "she was European, probably from somewhere around the Czech republic", then they said something about her possibly being German.

I can't imagine her family, they must be wondering what happened. Is the Facebook page for her being shared internationally? The same way as for the page for the man who died in Melbourne.

Help Find My Family: I Died in Belanglo Forest, Australia
I'm trying to grow this group with as many English speaking missing person groups before sharing with non-English speaking groups. I've converted the text about Angel into between 20-30 different languages, ready to target different countries. Any thoughts on what countries people think she might have come from. I've noted on one group someone suggested she might be Nordic. The police had a possible tip she might be German. Any other thoughts are very welcome and appreciated..

Here are the location of the Chain Reaction Stores where the t-shirt found near Angel could have been purchased new from 2003 onwards. The Vineyard & Mt. Druitt stores were nearest to Belanglo State Forest. Do you know anyone you've lost touch with that had a shirt like this? Did that person have a strong overseas accent? Did you work at Chain Reaction and remember selling a size 10 t-shirt with Angelic on it? Ring Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000 or contact Admin with what you know.

Admin for the page has translated the text and you can find it under 'Notes' at the top of the page. Anyone here who has networks in any of the European countries and is on FB, please consider sharing. :tyou:

I was following this group and posted on it recently that Angel was to be featured on Wanted - the page is now gone.

Anyone know why? I would think that now would be a great time to have it up.

I think it was gone before the show aired - I haven't been able to find it since the end of last week but I thought it was just me.

The 'please be careful' sign is in regards to people who use the area for motorcycling. It has been shown in a recent tv show that Angel's remains were found by motorcyclists. I hazard a guess that they are covering their bases in regards to fallen trees and the problem it is for motorbikes. Aussie speak for don't sue.

With the new interest from the 'Wanted' TV program about the UID 'Angel', I revisited the Milat case.
I found this detailed account/s of the Milat/Backpacker murder case
Murderpedia - Milat

After reading some of the reasons to why experts thought there were 2 people involved in the murders, I believe from the evidence that there was 2.
Below are just some of the reasoning from the weblink articles:

Dr Peter Bradhurst, the forensic pathologist who conducted all seven autopsies, said throughout that he thought it likely there was more than one person involved. The theory of multiple killers was supported by evidence that two rifles had been used at one death scene and shots had been fired from different directions. Evidence was also given that the branches used to cover the bodies were too heavy for one man to lift.

Manfred Neugebauer, the father of one of the German victims, remains convinced that Milat was not alone: 'Gabor was 1.86m (6 foot 1 inches) tall and very strong. When we sometimes went into the forest to cut firewood he would cut huge logs and carry whole stumps. It would have taken two men to kill him.'

The judge then stated what police investigators, the families of the deceased and public feared most. 'It is inevitable that the prisoner was not alone in that criminal enterprise,' he said.

Absolutely fascinating story from back in May about a Dr Hayes who is Australia's only facial anthropologist.

May 5, 2013

Her bones, hair and T-shirt were found by trailbike riders at the end of a long, cold winter in scratchy bushland deep in a forest made infamous by a serial killer.
Belanglo State Forest is Ivan Milat territory - but the young woman's death does not match the murderer's timeline.

Her remains is all that is known of her, all that is left of her short life, which given the isolated terrain in which she was found, probably ended violently.
As she lay, covered in eucalypt litter, the forest slowly swallowed her identity.
A year later to the day she was discovered, Dr Susan Hayes stood in the Glebe Morgue, the young woman's skull in her hands. She would give a face to this faceless young woman - somebody's child, somebody's friend.

Hey Everybody, I have removed some posts for discussing a facebook and its admin. The facebook is under review.

WS does not engage in facebook wars or discuss posters that post on facebook. Information gleaned from social media is considered rumor because there is no way to verify who is posting what.

If it can't be linked, it can't be discussed.

The Ivan Milat murders are the most gruesome murders that I've ever read about. What he did to his victims is absolutely horrific. Since he usually took trophies, like back packs and clothing, I find it very difficult to believe that no one in his family knew what he was doing. It wouldn't surprise me at all to learn that one of his brothers was involved, or that someone in the family is continuing to murder hitch hikers.

Serial killer, Ivan Milat, for example, likes to get coffee, chocolate wafers and flour, with which he makes damper, from the buy-up list.
