She will always be the gf who entered into a relationship with an alleged murderer, screamed at the Judge when he was found guilty, organised a high profile media campaign in defiance of our Justice System and then financially profited from the crime.

The first word is 'Cheese'. Not as good as Pie Face but it still made me smile. This photo was obviously part of Channel 7's $$$$ deal with RL and it does look just a bit cheesy IMO.

Gawd I wish RL would just go away! The "best boyfriend she's ever had" is now in jail for murdering Lisa Harnum. That should be the end of this media circus IMO.

However I am looking forward to reading about Gittany's exploits in jail. I'll give him about three months before he hits the headlines again. Drugs, thuggery etc, while incarcerated. He will blow all chances of parole and see out his 26 year sentence, if he lives that long!

I find Jimbob an interesting sleuther. :silenced: Whether they play it up or not - Justice McCallum has the legitimate authority and the position as the Judge in the case to formulate her judgement based on the evidence before the Court. Media and the girlfriend's alleged sex appeal, beauty & reported 'intelligence' should fall into the same basket as the supporters of Gitttany expecting their character references to alter the course of the Judge's judgement IMHO. It been through a fair Trial with skilled Defense and Prosecution lawyers and an eminent Justice presiding. He was convicted.

Well from a recent msm photo of RL she looks much heavier that 50 Kg!!! Those dresses she wore to Court to hid her heavy hips IMO. In the photo posted on the first day of Gittany's jail sentance, she looks much heavier that 50 Kgs.

For the program to establish any credibility in this area, they would need to demonstrate to the public what RL's weight actually is in front of our eyes & IMO explore scientific evidence in this area.

Apart from this, RL is alive and conscious - not unconscious as we speculate that Lisa may have been. The older reporter is no match for an apoplectic enraged Gittany. Male rage produces chemicals in the body which makes them even stronger. This can be scientifically validated without worry as it is well established. :crazy:

My understanding is that the convicted murderer has a right to Appeal as a normal course of events. Hypothetically, lets say there is equal chance that 3 Appeal Judges might just arrive at the same conclusion as Justice McCallum. It has been through a fair Trial with skilled Defense and Prosecution lawyers and an eminent Justice presiding. Gittany has been convicted of the murder of Lisa Harnum.

I am really wondering how Ch7 is going to present the 2nd part of the story tomorrow night. I was expecting more 'siding with Gittany' in the first part, but it didn't come across as that. Maybe they left that stuff for part two because of the sentencing delay.

Will be interesting to see what the fingerprint expert has to say. Not sure he can say much but I presume they will conduct some tests on a female climbing over the balcony......

Also as I have said I think they will try and question whether the eyewitness evidence is reliable based on the distance and the trees he would have to have seen through.

I expect probably a more balanced view to be presented which will lend impetus to any appeal.

I wonder how they could possibly explain why SG would let go of LH to let her demonstrate a pirouette that took her over the balcony without touching it. And how they will explain that the pirouette looked like gittany throwing Lisa over the balcony to the witness.

Rachelle - you got a get out of jail free card with that statement from him, yet instead of saying 'OK' - you go on to defend him.
He wouldn't have said this unless he was guilty/didn't want you around any more/ was 'only joking'/wanted to see your reaction.
That's what they do - Its a control statement. Push you away, to test if you will come back. He's testing you. He wouldn't say that unless there was something in it for him.
She just doesn't get it.

Oh, and 5 years?
Wont it take RL longer than that to go through law school to defend him?
ETA: Somehow I get the impression that this is more about proving herself (RL) right, more than him (SG) wronged.

IMO two main areas they would like to challenge are:
1) The eyewitness testimony;
2) The pinhole camera.

The eye witness saw what he saw. His credibility was established before the Court. No point chasing ambulances.
Caught by his own camera as they say!!!

It was Trial by the Supreme Court, not trial by media ratings for Channel 7.

IMO it is outrageous that Gf has been permitted to publicly question the judgement of the Court in her quest to add impetus to any Appeal.

The nature & extent of the relationship between GF, SG and Lisa may need further exploration to include opinions from others. Gf allegedly introduced Lisa to SG, Gf was in a vehicle at the same time etc. Was she invited to the conversion ceremony? Was she invited to the engagement party?
Questions may need to be explored a little further Channel 7 or you may have overlooked some vital information. IMO Gf seems more intertwined than is publicly outed.

The Gf publicly infers that Lisa was "impulsive"! What professional training does she have to use such a label? She besmirches Lisa's reputation in the eyes of the public. I hope there is a legal avenue for Lisa's family to gain redress & damages against the Gf.

IMO this is an attempt to gain high exposure and to influence approx. 1.79+ million viewers to see it the way Gf would like it to be seen. We know that SG is capable of apoplectic rage when he does not get what he wants, but is Gf similar or is she 'acting out' by extension that rage through the media? She has used the media as a tool to project the view that: "They've got it wrong!".

Gf might need to consider that 'others' may find legal ways to get some of that money she has been paid by Channel 7.
