Surely you wouldn't have been the only person to witness Lynette at the Club that Friday night?
Particularly with so people there that summer holidays night.
Lynette would have stood out somewhat, compared to a busy normal Friday night, if there were so few people there that night.

Maybe who you saw at the Club that night, was possibly the same person (that looked a lot like Lynette Dawson) that some of the Dawson family claim to have seen on different occasions, at different locations, after that night.

No Lynette told me her name .. ..and husband's name and that he play for Newtown Lynette had dark hair, that night
Her nurses uniform on and orange or pink cardigan on!

So, if the driver wasn't Chris or Paul, Lyn must have known him. Unless it was a taxi, but you said it was a van?

If Chris or Paul the arranged for the van to drive her to the leagues club, they must have known the driver

The below Police missing person's report has her hair listed as "blonde".

Can anyone recall or source who was the last credible, documented person (friend, work colleague, neighbour, or family member of the Sims side) that was not a Chris Dawson side of the family, family member, to officially see Lynettte Dawson alive before Saturday 9th January 1982. And whether this/these person(s) was clear on whether Lynette's hair color was blonde or dark on the day of their sighting/meeting with Lynette.

How did the driver treat her? Hit/push her?
I think you said some time back (I can't find the post at the moment) that you saw the driver 2 more times after that night. Can you say when and where?

In this Xmas 1981 pic, approx. 2 weeks before Lynette Dawson was murdered (according to the Trial Judge), the below photo's reddish exposure might have affected the hair colours to make some of the blondes look more strawberry than they were in real life.

I was about to post the same article! Also wasn't there a family photo posted here a while back of Christmas 81 where her hair was blonde? I've just been back over lots of pages,but can't find it. The search funtion is hopeless :( Yes, I realise women can colour their hair in a flash, but with all the chaos of the silly season and 2 young kids, I doubt she would have time or have cared to.

Exactly. Even if the "driver" dropped Lyn at the club and sat in the carpark waiting for her to do whatever it was she was there for, the barman at the very least would have seen her, surely. She must have gone inside, otherwise what was the point of being there. I don't understand the secrecy of why she was there. Also, if her being there was at CD's request, why? given that on Friday nights, the place would usually be packed out? If he wanted people to believe she was at home at the time and the club had, in fact, been busy, his alibi would've been blown out of the water from to get go....or the plot stalled I suppose given that she was still alive at that time.

The driver never looked at me he looked at the ground, car park ,he walked around the side of the van he walked the end of the van, other side then got in, remember it's night-time 8:30 9 pm he reversed at speed jerked and took off a speed, no lights turn left fast and drove up the street with no lights.... I stood there shocked for 10 to 20 seconds

We can't comprehend why someone would try and kill someone or how they carry it out I can't put ourselves in that situation where were walking in Chris Dawson shoes or Paul Dawson shoes or Marilyn shoes or even Lynette shoes.... the facts are he's gone and she's dead she didn't want to leave for children and loved her husband

About February 2014 the Daily Telegraph Sydney paper ,had an article on page three or four ,Lynette brother was asking for help in the article ,a picture of Lynette with darker hair, Lynette picture was bigger her brother's picture with smaller

Maybe this is the article.. It just doesn't have the pictures.. it does say it is from 23rd January, 2014
