It’s a ticklish one and l know it has to be decided by law, but morally, the two Dawsons and the others in authority who performed similarly grubby acts, have much to answer for.

Can only hope that they are at least publicly shamed, even if the ridiculously lax laws that applied at the time don’t make them criminals.
 

Chris Dawson loses final 'futile' appeal of murder conviction​


The NSW Court of Appeal rejected his challenge to his murder conviction in June 2024, finding that there was no miscarriage of justice despite errors in Justice Harrison's decision.

Dawson then took the matter to the High Court where a panel of six judges shot down his final bid today.
