As you say mishy, you can't believe a word that comes out of his mouth, so I remain open to everything on the table.

Regarding DdH's return to Australia in Jan 81, IMO she left him! Probably over his "platonic" affair with Monique or some other woman he took a fancy to. IMO DdH wouldn't risk flying back to Australia with her son just 10 weeks away from giving birth unless she had a damn good reason. I also suspect that is why she went to live in the UK too JMO
Am I dreaming that there was an incident with police in 1981..? Something where he got caught again for fraud but it was during the time frame that D and he lived there? Or am I imagining that?

@mishy66 found the death of Freddy in a car accident. And knowing Wonka had used his ID to enter on Chusan it backed up that Freddy was dead.

why can’t we find Freddys death (aside from the newspaper article. I’ve tried searching the cemeteries but can’t find him.

To me something occurred between desire & Wonka .. maybe Desire was sick of Wonkas antics? It’s interesting that he has not used desires ID before and taken his name as an alias. And I think there’s a reason for that I just don’t know what that reason is.

why would he not have spoken to him for 20 years? Why does he not even know if he’s dead or alive?

I think Desire told him to get out of his life.

JMO[/QUOTE]

Someone located a DD in Flobecq associate with the Lions club, the photo made him look quite young, I have found his facebook page and it is the same person but older, there is a likeness to RB, but the facebook page reveals nothing of interest or helpful.

I think DD is alive and told him to do one years ago

Exactly! IMO he introduced himself to the Walkers as FREDY DAVID (the passport he was using at the time) DW preferred Rick (the frog thing). Then when he returned to Australia (on no-one knows what passport) he had to continue the Fredy David name so he changed it to FREDERICK DAVID de Hedervary (probably making up some BS story about the deH part) The Walkers probably knew nothing about his Wonka name until later (if ever). They probably had no idea their daughter was writing to him in a gaol cell either. The fact that the marriage took place at the Wayside Chapel says it all IMO.

Agree he was Freddy David when he first meet DD, that statement from her that he was WW ( but she called him Freddie) did her no favours, as she was clearly lying.

I have an note in my file:
March 1978 - WILLY WOUTERS - Tournai - Convicted of Forgery, counterfeit seals & stamps, cheques without funds, frauds, false names, larcenies, importation of 3g hashish. 3 years gaol 5 years gaol. Was this sentence in his absence?

August 14 1978 - FdH & DdH
both flew back to Australia.

I'm not sure about this, I think I found it amongst his NAA files. If the date of conviction is correct, he has never served that sentence. It would explain why he needs to constantly change his passport name to enter Europe to avoid arrest.

Good point BonnieB, about Freddy and Andre, they were still around then. And the phone call he got in Coles in 1990 about MC's passing - not even sure if there were mobile phones here then, but if there were they would have been super expensive, thousands of dollars I'd imagine - or did they put a call over the PA system at Coles for him.
Mobile phone were pretty common already in 1990. We all had one, old Nokias from memory, not too expensive even then

I must be thinking of 78.. never served sentence.. hmmm wouldn’t be nice if authorities now know he’s alias’s and make him serve the time

Where's the proof FD died in a car accident? I've seen it somewhere, but wasn't that 1963? There's another article in 1968 saying he was convicted and imprisoned in 1968 for a year or something.

In Australia in 1980/81, the Immigration Dept/Federal Police were considering revoking FdeH's Australian Citizenship (Section 50/1…ACA) due to his fraudulent application whereby he did not disclose his criminal convictions. How slow the wheels of justice move, getting bogged down with paper shuffling!

yes agree on all of this.
He died on 1963 and performed a Lazarus in 1968
His birthdate is in the conviction notice 1942
and in the death notice he would have been only 21 not 24 as stated in that notice....that age of 24 would align with the birthdate of W Wouters though.....

She’s the only one he has loved IMO and the only one who didn’t buy his BS and fall under his spell yes she had an affair but that doesn’t mean she fell for him and his stories. Hence he holds her in high regard because he didn’t outsmart her?

Lol, and then she threw him under the bus, funniest thing ever! He found it incredulous that she testified against him.

Wouldn’t be a trip if RB is actually FD and the FD in the paper is WW.. meaning the person who died who would’ve been 24 was Willy Wouters. And it’s Freddy who has been impersonating everyone all the years and Willy! Haha sorry I thought I’d just throw out a ridiculous notion that actually fits into the rest of the ridiculous regarding Wonka Aka man of many names

Yes, really large, we bought them on a plan. The phone calls were very expensive

If that were true - then he first came here after WW was dead and used his passport. Came back in on Chusan on his real passport changed his name to Frederick as mentioned earlier because he was using freddy ID.. but was he using it? So many car accidents.. by WW in Belgian papers.. then this random one about Freddy dying.. ok I’m going to stop now because my brain cannot deal with another twist

And his comment of oh she’s playing with you.. when he heard she had said he made up stories lol

OMG - it would explain his astonishing lapses of memory pre 1963, like his daughters name, his brother disowning him and his leg injuries from that other car accident (not the horse BS)
