:p
Thanks!
07 june 1942 Freddy David born (sentenced)
08 june 1942 - Fredy David born (birth announcement)

Although the 1 day difference is a bit funny, i think we cant rule one of them out :p

In Belgium, in that period, people had longer, reffering to dads, grandpa’s,… names , but were called differently. For example:
Freddy/Fredy might come from:
- Frederic
- Frederick
- Alfred
- Fernand
-…
Willy can come from:
- William
- Wilfried
-Willem
- Wilhelm
my guess is: on his birth certificat he won’t be named Fredy/Freddy and Willy.
I just want to explain about names in that part of the world as I understand that Australian s like to give nicknames. I was born in Europe and actually have a grandfather called Willy.
Willy is definitely not a short form of other names, but was a very popular name on it’s own. Other spellings are Willi and Willie. Fredy or Freddy also are names in their own right. However people can have many names given at birth, but one of these names is usually underlined, meaning that is the offical first name. This does not need to be the first name listed.

Yes RC certainly was captured / reason on his documentation "secret information" so yep resistance fighter and when released started his life with his new wife and step daughter.
His address at the time stated ...... ? de Passy Froyennes.
think Passy is the word they use when the don’t want to reveal and address lol

I am wondering about the people he named on page 2 of that document who can vouch for him. I can't decipher the first name, someone living on the Rue de la Gare, Froyennes. Could that be the fiance (or connected) as RC may not have know her whereabouts/situation before being released?
Mishy referenced your pic, hope that's ok

It’s an actual streetname, mostly, like in this case, the street where the trainstation is. Almost every town in Belgium has a “rue de la gare” or “stationstraat (Dutch)”.

FROYENNES

So based on that.. the referee on RC prison release card would be someone who lived near the station?

FdH used Hazel Rd as his address in 1986 on his incoming passenger card from the Philippines (coming home to spray the weeds ;) )
63-69 Hazel Rd sold in Oct 1988 63-69 Hazel Road, Tamborine, Qld 4270 - realestate.com.au
A few blocks on Hazel Rd sold in the 80's, this may have been when the land was first released for sale after a subdivision of a much larger piece of land on Hazel Rd?
May 1988 38-46 Hazel Road, Tamborine, Qld 4270 - realestate.com.au
June 1988 43-53 Hazel Road, Tamborine, Qld 4270 - realestate.com.au
Jan 1987 48-54 Hazel Road, Tamborine, Qld 4270 - realestate.com.au
Feb 1976 (when FdH & DW married probs just a coincidence) 74-88 Hazel Road, Tamborine, Qld 4270 - realestate.com.au
Mar 1987 (again in 1990) 103-115 Hazel Road, Tamborine, Qld 4270 (realestate.com.au)
Mar 1990 (again in 1991) 106-116 Hazel Road, Tamborine, Qld 4270 (realestate.com.au)
Mar 1987 117-121 Hazel Road, Tamborine, Qld 4270 (realestate.com.au)
Aug 1985 118-122 Hazel Road, Tamborine, Qld 4270 (realestate.com.au)
And a few more first sold in the late 70's.
Wow. Shoulda held on to that land. Would have been quite the investment.

Yes. Reads to me like a mr Telerin/Felerin/Pelerin. But could be wrong!

Weeds.....hmmmmmm ;)

Fascinating!

And given that in October 1986 - it is a Mt Warren Park address he gives
VERY ODD place for him to use as an address at that time IMO.

My thoughts are he has fleeced another woman here at Mt Warren park.....

During the early 1980's the estate was the site of several high profile lotteries run by a Brisbane based radio station. Major prize in the " Free Home lottery" was a house & land package in the estate. In one particular lottery, several houses were built along both sides of Schweitzer Street, with the winner given the choice of their preferred house. These houses were open to the public in the lead up to the draw, bringing a great deal to traffic and attention to the estate.
@mishy66 the other address I find interesting is on the NAA files in 1980 when the AFP were trying to locate FdH and they have noted his address as 33 Rusbook (Rusbrook) St, Redland Bay. This is waterfront property that I believe in the late 70's early 80's would have been vacant land and not yet developed?? @Meligator shoulda held on to this land too ;)

That's interesting, great pick up BabeBlues ......... perhaps he was planning on pitching a tent there? Just had a look in Trove - application for building appears to be in 2000.

I was interested to see that the second name on the list is Vicomte Cossée de Maulde, the Bourgmestre de Rameignes-Chin (mayor) from 1921|1940. Friends in high places indeed!

EDIT: No, must have been his father who was the Vicomte at that time in 1945 as the one above did not become Vicomte until 1947.

The interesting thing is he said he sold some of it. Does that mean he still has some?

Perhaps it says Vincent not Vicomte?

Gawd he seriously has taken the Mickey out of authorities.. 2 vacant blocks of land now as addresses. I think he writes whatever the heck he wants. Thinking unless it’s electoral roll we can’t trust any addresses

I agree, it is like he picks addresses at random almost.

I thought telerin too!
I thought it was Pelerin (Pilgrim Eng.) because if you look at the third name on the list, they live at Rue de Paris and the P in Paris is the same as the initial at the start of this name. Also the same as the Ps on previous page.
But...maybe all three are made up as the 3rd seems to say Fontaine (fountain!) Rue de Paris, Froyenne!
