I’ve been away and wow missed a lot of stuff in the last week way too much to catch up on before inquest..

Is there anything major that I should?

have noted the change to renov of April 11.. back to RB. Still scratching my head as to how you deny it’s your company or have ever heard of it …yet again another name change to current name. So I’d say RB is prepared for this to come up IMO

My camp has swayed a bit though more around 50/50 now on whether MB did return and take out $ herself.

Half of me thinks yes and the other half is stuck on a certain group located in UK and Inverell area. The more I read the more I sway did MB return?

I took down all of the places DDH said they lived but she only stated Melbourne and wasn't pushed for a suburb, darn.
Thanks Kiwi, yeah I though that to be the case

However, in the inquest it was reported she withdrew the $80,00 from the Ashmore bank on Oct. 15th. I haven't been following, is it your theory this wasn't her?

Interestingly, Owen's birthday was Oct. 18th. That was the key date that Sally, and IMO police, would take seriously, not contacting her son on his birthday. So the evidence - however inadequate it seems today - from the bank that only 3 days earlier she had been alive and insisting that she didn't want her children to know where she was, would certainly seem to answer her children's questions.

I must say, it would be very unpleasant to have to pass this news on to any woman's children. I don't know whether, at that point, Sally believed she was involved with a man. There was certainly no evidence that she was anything but single and completely independent. IMO it would be easy, in those circumstances, for authorities to see her as the victimizer, not the victim.

JMO

Initially, I was of the opinion that Marion was the person who withdrew/transferred the last $80k on 15th October. As time passed I questioned why there would be a gap of no bank activity for almost 6 weeks after the last withdrawal at Byron Bay. I could not imagine what Marion and RB were doing in that period; it didn't make sense to me.
After watching the testimony of RB at the inquest countless times, I formed an opinion of a man lacking any morals or conscience. His only motivations are greed and self preservation which began to explain the timeline of events.
IMO, Marion was sufficiently under his control to have withdrawn half of the money at Byron Bay willingly. She had use of the car to do this while RB was in phone contact and made periodic visits from his home in Wollongbar to reinforce his control. Greed!
IMO the two withdrawals at Burleigh Heads were made by Marion after driving there alone and unknown to RB. I think she may have been having second thoughts and may have been tempted to contact Sally and tell her about her plans with FNR (RB). We don't know what convincing story RB fed her about the need for secrecy but at this point Marion believed it and decided to wait just a few more weeks until she could reveal all to her family.
IMO the remainder of the withdrawals at Byron Bay were also made by Marion but with increasing suspicion and uneasiness. It's obvious in his testimony that RB tires easily with his victims; he becomes bored with his charade and is eager to end it. Cut & run, as AC describes it.
IMO, Marion became suspicious of his inattention and the excuses for his absences; her dream life with FNR was dissolving and so was his control over her. She confronted and threatened him and that's when the unthinkable occurred. Self preservation!
IMO, the next 6 weeks involved the cover up! He took Marion to a safe, secluded place. He disposed of her personal belongings, keeping anything of value including the withdrawn cash and documents. He disposed of any remaining items from the shipping container. He lays low in case any suspicions come to light. Self preservation! Nothing is reported so he begins to formulate a way to extract the remaining money from Marion's account. He has all the necessary documents, the knowledge and perhaps even clothes. He just needs a 'stand-in' Marion. Greed! JMO

Can anyone read what this says where the signature is? "Unable to" something. It's obvious both cards are written by the same person, probably DDH, but can't read that last word.
They are the cards for DdeH and son DdeH

Convincing, @BonnieB! I like it.

I agree with everything @BonnieB wrote and RB's control of situations. He has even "played" the CC hearing, often repeating "I will take zee polygraph" but IMO, assuredly knowing this part of the law which is only applicable to N.S.W. Section 6(1) of the Lie Detectors Act 1983 (NSW) states that "the output from a lie detector, and any opinion based on that output, is inadmissible in court." IMO playing the "aged, dithering, breathless, forgetful" card but in reality, after an alleged lifetime of crime, possibly one of the slyest foxes EVER! (My sincere apologies to all handsome, four-legged foxes!)

Absolutely @Liselle, the polygraph and "I don't want to pergure myself" are just part of his sly, devious attempts to con the court. He will not hesitate to implicate ANYONE to save his worthless skin. As I mentioned, he has already implicated his wife and used her alleged medical history in attempts to gain advantage. He even used his own daughter to explain the purchase of the second car, even though she was too young to drive unaccompanied at that time. IMO, he has no respect for any woman, except perhaps, for MC.
He will have used the past few weeks to study, research and hone his version of events in 1997. My hope is that there will be a few unexpected surprises for Mr. AKA during the next three days in Byron Bay.

A person who uses a wheely Walker daily is particularly careful when anticipating entering buildings, always looking for access ramps and rarely attempting steps. It looks awkward for a tall elderly man to use steps with his extra small size Walker. An occupational therapist would not have recommended a small size Walker for a tall man. I just wish he'd stop playing the victim card, it's getting stuck on repeat, boring! The Australian tax payer is paying for his wife's carers pension. Where is she on his trips OS and to courthouse?

@MrsWattle Additionally, there would be an assessment to provide the maximum weight capacity of the walker to make sure it can adequately support the persons weight! This one looks very lightweight and more suited to a shorter, slightly less bulky patient. IMO.:)

I bet the ATO will be looking closely at all of this...

My thoughts on the latest Podcast -

poor Sally - double edge sword for her - she owes the podcast for getting her to where she is but now it seems TLV feels ownership of the story, some of the avenues they tried to pursue on the latest podcast could of harmed any potential case IMO - I predict that Sally and the TLV podcast relationship will end in tears

don't forgot not to send illogical, unproven, theory's and findings, and - "check your facts" - ;) I can imagine some of the off the wall stuff they get but they did ask for it when they asked the public to help solve the case
