I don’t even believe he’s related to that family personally. I think he was an orphan who stole the WW identity.
Nothing would surprise me anymore with all of this.

I'm just wondering how many people have ever seen a tea chest, apart from in very old movies.
I kept thinking that maybe D didn't know what a tea chest was. I was hoping that a picture would be held up of a similar tea chest.
Was it a fancy one. Or do they all look the same.

My info is from the Flemmish side of Belgium:
Willy was a name given to babies back in the days. Since +/- the 80’s it would have been ‘William’.

William is used in French Belgium, The Flemmish part of Belgium & The Netherlands. It was used in the old days and is used now. Not every Willy is a William & vice versa.

Willy was and is also a nickname for people with the name “William”. It used to be a nickname for people with the name “Wilfried” (old, not being used now).

I have no knowlage of the nickname of people with the name Guillaume (do you French people call them Willy?)

Willy with this spelling being common in ‘39: i would say very common vut i’m going to search that info.
Thank you so much and HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :)

These discounted flights have seemed to become a fact. Am I missing something ?

I'd like to see or hear something that proves he had discounted flights.

Overnight musings: is RB a gambler? Would explain the lack of money when making quite a bit with his scams. I know we've all heard the stories that if someone has mysterious 'missing' money it's usually gambling or a drug habit.

I thought DH said he gets the invalid pension due to having Post traumatic stress disorder, ya know been a full time victim and all

I think the best people to ask about DH medic issues and memory are her children, if they are truthful. Do you think we will get to see them on the stand ?

Is PTSD a disability?

Simply having PTSD does mean that you are considered disabled, but if the symptoms of PTSD are so severe that they affect your ability to function in society or in the workplace, then this would be considered a disability.

Originally, I heard that their children were going to be witnesses but there's little time left unless they extend the inquest.

That's my idea of what one looked like, thanks.
The heavy carved ones where you see smaller versions of even now at the end of someone's bed are what some people call tea chests.

Inquest into the disappearance of Marion Barter (aka Florabella Natalia Remakel) - Day nine

I hope Casselden delves deeper into the restricted AF document today.
How good would it be if it details Belgium's investigation of RB and reveals his real name?

I recall travelling overseas for a period of time in late 1990s and tea chest simply referred to a size of removalist box. Not necessarily anything ornate.

No, I'm not buying the 'discounted flights' either. Because I heard it with my own ears – at first RB said heavily discounted then quickly changed it to FREE return flights to Australia.

RB knows that if the flights were discounted, then there would be a transaction record to prove it or he'd need to provide transaction statements. Free flights would not.

It was simply a 'spur of the moment' lie to respond to Casselden when he asked RB to justify how he could afford to regularly fly despite he and his wife repeatedly saying they were pensioners, had no jobs, businesses or other income, and were short on cash. We all know the answer: he bought the airfares using stolen money from his victims. IMO
