I wonder why the man of many names sometimes came back in to Aus via Perth? Seems a very odd (and long winded route) to go to Sydney via Perth. Still, everything about him is odd right........

Seems it's a sister publication to Luxembourg word. There are two Aachener outlets and they're both going to be sharing Marion's story.

It would be so easy to play the kind caring coerced wife role knowing there's a fortune to be made being married to a swindler that she has known since 1971 .....

Good point. Perth was very different decades ago. I wonder how the airport/immigration /document security/checks compared with the eastern states back then

Perth is geographically close to Bali, so I expect that it had something to with him wanting to make a quick exit and return to Australia. Perhaps related to the availability and timing of the flights? And yes, I expect he thought that he would be less likely to come to the attention of the immigration authorities, especially if he was traveling on a new passport in a new name?

A couple of thoughts:
He seems to do stopovers in SE Asian countries.

1. Timezones
Perth is close and on the same time zone as most of these Countries?

2.Price
It could be that the Asian airline carriers were cheaper and many would connect to Perth.

He strikes me as someone who would want a cheaper flight, even if it were a bit longer.

The recent podcast has so much detail and tightens up many theories from the past.

Going back over IK timeline and those 2 passenger cards of IK and baby EW makes so much more sense now with the 2 different departure dates.

IK was another victim swooned by a vulture and led to believe she found the man of her dreams.

What a brave mother to hand her baby over to another woman to deliver her safely to her parents in Belgium.
Were they in trouble of some sort and she was protecting her baby in case she was held in customs????

He meets D Walker on the Chusan and then returns to Lille France 1971 where IK reunites with him and they live with the baby until he is arrested.

IK eventually marries MJR in Budapest, before they all return to live in Australia.


Listening to the podcast I think it is safe to also add IK death cert and COD here so other WS can also see what J is refering to..?

This actually makes me sad. SL really needs a ruling that MB is deceased and then a death certificate so that she can access records that are protected by privacy. Without it, these records could wel be destroyed before she can access them.
