My goodness - my head is about to explode with scenarios and theories after this new sensational news.
What are the odds that IK, her mother & brother all die the same year! It would be interesting to see how the mother and brother died and where. Poor IK, and daughter Evelyn. So many victims and am sure still more to find! I am hoping police both here and in Europe are now checking into missing women and women who have died mysteriously who would fit as possible victims of RB.

I am continually trying to find some reason why RB has asked several women to blonde their hair. Maybe he has a fetish for blonde women! But... what if you are wanting to poison someone and worried about it showing up on kidney tests. Maybe get them to undergo kidney function tests to show that they are healthy in that respect in the early days. Administer poison secretly in small doses so as not to alert them to any misdoings. Then persuade them to dye their hair blonde. If at some stage after that, the person gets sick/dies and their kidneys are showing they are in kidney failure from a poisoning of some sort then you could say "Her kidneys were perfect 3 or so months ago but she was never the same after that hair dye. She must have had a horrendous reaction to it." I am of the belief that some women do have a pretty bad reaction to hair dye that can cause liver damage.

Not a hairdresser but I like what you guys are on to here…
A quick google shows that poisons can show up in hair follicle samples. Also that bleaching or stripping the hair causes lower levels of poisons or drugs being detected. This could be why specifically blonde is preferred by AKA because it requires high levels of bleach on most hair types.

i really can’t imagine how Miss Reid must have felt while both then and now learning what a creep her bio father is and was. I really feel for her.
There’s no mention of her brother in the article. Can anyone help me remember: is he her full or halfbrother?

Would she have met her half siblings while trying to connect with the creep? I secretly hope so & hope now she talked, they will start talking. But i’m afraid they won’t, because of what they could lose (money, real estate,…)

Thanks Kinsey. I’m intrigued by your own story. I do still wonder if getting his victims hair dyed blonde was to disguise the effects of any poisoning should death occur and an autopsy was carried out.

Also after reading that Wiki link if a larger dose was used you could say the dye caused the hair loss.

The hair colouring and liver tests are really starting to point to a serial poisoner here. Whether it was to weaken his victims or do away with them who knows?

The NSW connection to so many historical cases of murder or attempted murder with this poison is a bit disturbing.

Agree- the hair dying and liver tests could be related somehow. (My grandmother was clearly unhinged. Might have seen poisoning as preferable to divorce. She left her very young kids (incl my mum, aged 4), and went on to remarry and have 5 more kids! She dumped all of us from her first marriage).
