Yes! We know RB wants cash. But MB did not give him the cash from the sale of her house. Instead she placed it in the bank. I think the high interest account with the Colonial State Bank is a strong indication she was looking to secure her future. Also, her bank accounts were still under her MB name.

So RB has to engineer a reason to secretly return to Australia so the money can be withdrawn by MB. The withdrawals occur over a period of months in & around Byron Bay, during which time MB learns enough about RB & co to be considered dangerous. I am feeling so sorry for Sally and what she has been going through.

And yes, it is heartbreaking for SL what is unfolding Her mum would still be alive IF the Aust authorities had done their job and got this animal off the streets back in the 70's !)

Everyday SL is reminded that a psychopath came into contact with her mum. Everyday he walks the streets, his family continue with their lives and he makes a mockery of the system.

It is unimaginable what SL has had to endure all these years. The system really let her down when she first went to the police station all those years ago.

She is a brave and courageous woman. Taking on a monster and seeing that justice is done. And it will be.

Marion would be so proud of her that is for sure!

Him and his family are deplorable. They have to live with their actions for the rest of their lives - it will eat them away = karma.

I wonder if the women who turn on him and confront him to his face are the ones poisoned. The dangerous ones.

In terms of his MO and 'game play' as it were, he clearly wants to fleece the victim of all their assets - cash, valuables, and property - then leave them with nothing and even worse, nothing they can do about it.

I speculate that if he's sure the victim doesn't know his true identity and has no clue to his real life and he has a sufficient cover story / lie that means any legal action would only comprise a civil dispute, then he just abandons them. If he is at risk of being revealed and police knocking at his door then I reckon he would end their life.

What I really don't understand is where all the stolen money has gone - he and his family must have been living a really luxury lifestyle without a care in the world, financially speaking, as they would have been alright off with his disability pensions and welfare payments. He obviously isn't a casino gambler or serious addict or that would have come to light by now. Has he really just given his wife and kids the very best of everything of the back of other people's misery and pain?

I know airline staff get great travel perks for themselves and family though

He might have been on the friends and family discount - when I worked for Cathay Pacific many years ago it was 95% discount for staff members and their family.

The WSleuths here on this thread have found a MOUNTAIN of information over the years- related or otherwise - about this case. SO many people have found so much info that adds more pieces to this puzzle.

Most of us give up our spare time to search clues on who this monster is - we dont have the volumes of files to read over like the J team do, we just have to rabbit hole every lead .

The unfortunate thing is though that some things can't be posted for legal reasons - I for one would LOVE to post up everything to nut it all out together and I am sure others feel the same way.

But I find it INCREDIBLE that information posted here can find its way onto the MB FB page WITHOUT adding that it was read on WS!

WSleuths REALLY DO FIND THINGS. We aren't numbskulls! So it would be a considerate thing to add it was found on the WS thread. That way the public might see that there is another bunch of people also trying to find information and that it TAKES A VILLAGE .... It would be IMPOSSIBLE FOR ONE PERSON TO FIND EVERYTHING because there are TOO MANY arms to this case.

I agree you WSleuths are amazing and I am blown away at the amount of information that this group has found and shared. I totally understand how it must feel not to be given credit for the hard work and dedication put in to this case.
IMO the MB missing person page and those responsible for the content published there are taking every precaution to publish and share information that they can back up based on THEIR research and no doubt are getting legal advice regarding content.
I feel, given time there will be recognition given for those who are assisting with info behind the scenes in particular WSlueths.
To be honest, if you asked me 2 years ago my opinion of WSlueths I would have described it as a forum for people to express theories (not facts) on cases/topics. Boy was I wrong as you guys are relentless and have proven time and time again what amazing researchers you are.

He's needed here so he can go to court whenever needed, to try and finally get to what happened to Marion, and hopefully where her body is.

What happened to Marion and exposing this con man for living a life of deceit and vile behavior all the while thinking he could get away with it scot-free.
