I think she is her fathers daughter through and through.
Started young he trained her up during his coin selling days. She goes under 2 names, the one I mention her socials name still. She also didnt register her marriage, just like her criminal father.

Fascinating, isn’t it. Can appreciate that with so many names and so many “clients” you would need ways of remembering what was going on. At the same time you’d have to be careful not to hold too much evidence. Although given how much he got away with over the years without any authorities taking any action, maybe he just didn’t care and felt comfortable to operate like that.

They certainly moved regularly. I'm wondering if any of the rentals overlapped so that they could have lived at separate addresses during his crime sprees. None of the victims have mentioned they visited his houses. I wonder if they owned a trailer or truck to do all the moves or furniture removalists were used (not cheap).

Lockable Filing cabinets easily moved with a trolley to next address. Sort of like a portable safe. Doubt they had paperwork stored in them. Disabled pensioner and carer plenty of physical action with every move.

They still do not appear to have lived much of a life of luxury equivalent to the gains. IMO it points perhaps to money laundering and gambling involvement. I return in my mind to the (maybe) Freudian slip of DdH at the inquest « He didn’t have any big wins [at that time]… »

The money trail, if ever discovered, will be interesting to say the least…

Will be interesting to see the investigation into his/their bank accounts!!

I wouldn't be surprised if he lived "high on the hog" when he received his swindled earnings.
I'm still not sure if his family actually knew where the money came from.

Edited to add that it's quite likely that the money ran out as he got older and less able to get around, plus less able to attract women. I would not be at all surprised if they really don't have any assets left.

I’m more thinking, he’d have it invested in properties or… bonds lol

Where my melbourne neighbours and chiropractic students at. I don’t think this case has even slightly registered in Melbourne.

This guy is a career criminal. We know about his criminal activity in the 1960/70s. We know he moved onto romance scamming and fleecing vulnerable women as he grew older in the 1990s and beyond.

I’ve no doubt he was active in the 1980s, but doing what exactly? Was it far more violent?

I can’t stop wondering about Burwash. Access to the Channel ferries and Belgium and France? But Burwash is extra tucked away (unlike RTW for example which is at the highway crossroads) and not all that close to the coastal departure spots aside from Eastbourne (which as far as I can tell didn’t have a ferry that went to Europe in the 1980s).

Were they just kind of in hiding cos it all got too hot in EU? the parts of Burwash near their home were very quiet and secluded when I was there in 2010.

Trying to go straight? Or a really good cover for wtf he was stashing all around that part of the country and still snaffling out in the late 1990s?

Yes ! Like the oh so dodgy "real estate " agent they "rented" their GC unit from... they had ONLY 2 .properties listed to their name....agency n the REDLANDS ....I tracked them back to TSS and Belgium .
