Maybe it was in one of the magazines???

I remember the MB FB page saying he had no moustache when he met Marion so this photo on the left could be around 1990's?

He certainly looks like his step brother in it IMO!!!

I am wondering if aka got the licence no photo back those days and they either didn’t question the florabella name or he told some story about his ethnicity and being a male name all he has to say to Marion that they made an error and put male instead of female. If he didn’t renew his in 1997 maybe this is a substitute

Also re the Driver‘s Licence issue, there was a Federal legislation change that I posted about earlier (link below) that IMO is pertinent to why it wasn’t renewed. Prior to late 1997, with no national registration system in place, it would be more difficult to trace between states and territories and pick up up anomalies. After late 1997, discrepanacies would be picked up. IMO if AKA was aware of this change (and IMO knowledge of bureaucratic systems would be just the sort of thing he would keep track of!) then it might explain why he didn’t renew.

Yes, he was a TSS parent. And, yes, they had done the conveyancing for her home.
And, they also had on file a new Will completed by Marion on 13th November, 1996. Sally had no idea about the existence of this new Will, she literally stumbled upon it. It included provision for Sally to be the beneficiary of Marion's home in Ashmore.

This sounds viable for sure as I moved between nsw and qld between 1992-1997.

Also a question or people’s thoughts about any correlation with AKA not renewing FR licence and something important in regards to Marion..... meaning he may have been saving the use of FR ids for the right time (many years) and when something happened to Marion ( that I believe he did) he covered by not reusing it as was first time as such and could be more highlighted in the future and connection to Marion?
I know lots of talk On this thread around this and always enjoyed reading and thoughts but I just keep coming back to the lies told about Marion and AKA storing her stuff for a few days and also the FR non renewal of drivers licence..... these I keep feeling are crucial to Marion’s case.

Horrifying to think some/all of the perpetrators connected to these women are walking amongst us, never having been caught. There must be so many more undiscovered? Well done to the policewoman who has ID'd over 40 cases too.

Whatever happened to MB, RB could not afford to renew that license in Australia which would connect the two of them and allow him to be traced with a current address IMO. As it was, he could say the license was lost/stolen before that critical period (or did he actually say that at the inquest?). All MOO obviously.

Now If only could find someone who remembers seeing some of her items.... not the good stuff.... everyday items as along with the licence I feel they are 2 lies that have the evidence connection to him and Marions unfortunate demise.

Also, as I’ve been going through old bits a bobs and keepsakes I found a set of coins in plastic case..... triggered me into remembering I bought for myself (birth year) from Lennox head markets back around 1997-1999.... not AKA of course but reminded of the busy market scenes and the like..... bungalow, the chanson, Lismore boot market etc

All these roads I am on keep leading me back to the deWouters d'Oplinter and Coppenolles -

I can imagine him swindling the MC family if he wasn't a blood relative, all those family coins and books... and he had the balls to swindle his 'cousins' wife the minute he died, pretty risky move if he was Marias son - swindling Marias brothers child...if this poor victim had have pressed charges - they had 3 of his names, Coppenolle Wouters deHedervary, and knew he lived in Australia - he would have been easily enough to find by the authorities, so it was a bold move of his given he has covered his tracks so well for all those years - Also the cousin did seem to know one of the people in a document I found on RC and posted up previously, of AH 'brother' and a man listed on it.
Whilst the cousins wife mentioned she didn't really know that side of the family because her husbands father died early, the authorities in Belgium would have had enough information to find him and report to Australian authorities - but they are ALL useless in that department though as we have seen in the last 60 years of his misadventures.

A VERY bold move and unnecessary risk - given his ability to hide his identity - to rob 'family' IMO

Does he have a strong hold with family contacts associated to authorities?

Did he also know Senior Constable GC -?
