Adam Casseldon is incredible. RB stated he only saw Marion three times. AC reminded him it was 4 times. Then paused and continued...excluding 1968.

He seems to have forgotten he said that he'd met her in the 60s

Adjourned til 11.30

I am incredibly jealous of his memory.

What a performance! He has pulled out the sick old man card. Well good luck buddy. You’ve sentenced yourself there. This act will have permanent repercussions.
Totally

What is even more telling is he is as guilty as all hell. The lengths he will go to to hide what he has done to the women he has caught in his net, is shown today for the world to see.
Going forward his little act with have to remain with him for the rest of his life.
He will have to remain in his role as the stuttering old tool that we see today, to his family, his acquaintances, the nursing staff, the police, the people he comes across in the streets, dianes family, and going forward to any other court proceedings. As they say, every dog has his day. This is your day Blooooooomm

GOD I feel so sorry for Sally Leydon today. What he is still putting her through.

He is a pig of a human.

Interesting....
He said (with Marion) "it wasn't a romantic relationship. She's the one who proposed."
Has he ever mentioned that she asked him to marry her previously?

"Let's call it sexual." It would be hilarious if it wasn't so horrific.
He didn’t like “romantic” but he’s ok with “sexual”!? {eye roll}

He really doesn’t. I doubt his family cares, I’m not seeing him as having all that many friends/acquaintances. And honestly I can see him either dodging questions about it, blaming it on someone else (his lawyer) or coming up with some 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 excuse. “The meds I were on effected my speech! That in combination with the sheer stress of being in court at my age… well it ruined my health at the time!”

IMO he knows a lot of people

That would be for the wife.

He thinks saying it was romantic would mean he couldn't say it was "just sex"

In short. He doesn't want the wife to think that it was anything romantic.

No but he would be thinking they have evidence of such so is going to blame her just in case.

IMO I think a sleuth here DID find something that may have been a marriage - I will have to go back and check my notes

He covers his arse with anything new that comes to the table.

You know what? You’re probably right on that. But I still think he could lie about this pretty successfully.

I assumed he meant propositioned for sex not marriage.

It seems revealing that the words come out without a stutter when he thinks he’s getting one over on C. Little reveals of apparent canniness.

ETA - He couldn’t get the words out faster when he spotted the one vs two crates or the misspoke names of the women involved.

They’ve referred to a possible form of marriage ceremony in the UK.

I think he’s, for the most part, using the stutter to give himself time to think of his answers. And yes, even with the extra time, this IS the absolute best he can come up with.

Kathy Burkes body language right now … is how we are all feeling !
I applaud everyone in that court room for having to sit through this painful BS… it’s seriously antagonising & mind-blowingly tedious… they all deserve medals for having to do their jobs {yawn} Zzzzzzzz
Someone wake me up when he’s done please!

There was one time when his stuttering got really bad and his head started to loll onto his chest.
I think that was what they call "a tell"

I can't recall what the questioning was about at the time, but I think it got to him.

He is a born liar
He couldnt even be truthful to his own kids to DdeH about their real surname - he had to use a made up one. Thats how much he thinks of his family so imagine what he thinks of people not connected to him = nothing.
Even his 'own cousins' wife was duped by the pig

I wonder whether his speech remains consistent when with his lawyer / family / respite care.
