Another postcard revealed. Confirms the con for me.
More pieces are coming together,Another postcard revealed. Confirms the con for me.
I find it hard to listen to as well.Another TLV episode. A few reveals. Obviously the podcast has been the catalyst to get the ball rolling for this whole sad story to be revealed but I find the hosts hard to listen to and the podcast itself is very poor technically.

I did think Sally came across really well though.Another TLV episode. A few reveals. Obviously the podcast has been the catalyst to get the ball rolling for this whole sad story to be revealed but I find the hosts hard to listen to and the podcast itself is very poor technically.
Justice for Marion and his numerous other victims.
Just seeing this now, but matching initials are exactly what he would have needed to make use of her credit or debit cards. They are given with initials and surname only. So it would have been the perfect way for him to withdraw her money using his own ID as identification if prompted.Yes very good point. Changing the family name would likely have been something Marion would have been keen on. Changing the given names so the initials match his latest alias just feels like the AKA special touch.
One theory of mine has been that DdeH flew over for a quick visit and it was she who returned as MB. Their son was not living at home then and their daughter was just 16yo I think. She could have been at a swimming camp or staying with a friend's family at the time. So DdeH flies to Amsterdam using a fake passport which RB organised, a day or two before RB himself flew home. He gives her MB's passport with photo changed and passenger cards already filled out, RB flies home and DdeH flies home two days later posing as MB.
Well AH could have played the I have connections all over card. As In I know someone who knows someone selling this place that would be perfect for a little school or even a daycare? Which would be way smaller than a school. And potentially he marketed it as a bargain?A lot of us here were thinking that the buying a school thing couldn't possibly be true because of the cost,
but it's starting to look like "someone" may have put the idea in her head that it might be possible, and at less cost than she would have thought.
They generally upload them to YouTube afterwards. Hopefully someone can post the link afterwards (I can try but may forget). Will someone post a summary of the TV special for us non-Australians? Thank you in advance. It was great to see the trailer. Very sensationalist, but that's what's needed now, I think.
I wonder how many women he managed to scam online? There was little awareness of internet scams back then.So there was a "Bernard DuPont" on RSVP targeting women in Sydney in the early 2000.
He used a photo of a young handsome "model" french man to introduce the other profile.
Thousands of women online everyday looking for love.
I bet the info is still all in RSVP archives. The lady would need to login to her old account or RSVP could possibly search it.
The lady mentioned he used a younger photo.
This is potentially the tip of the iceberg.
We don’t have the name of his original profile though - she said that RB contacted her under the name Bernard DuPont by other means, didn’t she?Wayback Machine RSVP

Page captures start in 1997. I think you need to have an account to see.
Monique ??I can hear a very slight accent with whoever is speaking on camera.
Yes. The Lady might need to go through the Wayback machine and find the french male profile she said was always there/active.We don’t have the name of his original profile though - she said that RB contacted her under the name Bernard DuPont by other means, didn’t she?
Yes. Multiple profiles could have been set up to catch women online all leading back to one scammer.Sounds like whoever it was on RSVP used bait and switch tactics
