I’m still in the middle of Michael Reid’s part and I don’t know what to make of him at all.

Ain’t that the truth! Regardless of Ilona’s marital status at the time, I’m still stuck on Willy Wouters being named as Chris’s father on his birth certificate. So many dots don’t connect.

MJR… what the actual? This episode left me gob smacked. So many things he said are just odd. How do you possibly believe putting your kids in a home means they aren’t wards of the state?

The current wife was there and remembers the car and IK death

I’m scratching my head about so much of what he said.

Not to mention discussing whether he got laid after the birthday party.. really???

Then how IK chased him on the cruise.

Another odd ball in this strange bizarre story.

It just highlights the stigma attached to sexual relations (especially for females) outside of marriage in those times. Unbelievable to think that a child born out of “wedlock” was shunned by society, so they probably thought it was in the best interests of the child to give him the name of the man that his mother was still married to. And of course, what great opportunities this gave to anyone with nefarious intent, to exploit these prejudices.

Agree, MJR probably had cause to wonder at least. It sounds like AKA was still very actively involved with IK and her family.

I don’t reeeally like Michael, who seems very bitter - but I am inclined to believe what he says about the “agreement” about taking custody of Evelyn being a lie/falsification by RB. He is literally a con artist. It’s not a stretch AT ALL to believe that RB fabricated a signature by Michael or impersonated him. Also, he doesn’t seem like someone who would lie about signing documents given how open he’s been about everything else.

Sadly, he’s clearly of ‘that’ generation. I don’t think he’s the same brand of evil as RB (and frankly I don’t think it’s relevant).

And looking at what we have found previously, to me it looks like CR was AH son and IK married MR by perhaps feeling finally they could be real family for her kids. And was again let down by another AH. JMO
For MR to be granted IK compensation on behalf of the kids, then spend it himself as ER said, makes me wonder just how much MR knew in regards to AH.

Two children of IK, shoved sideways, for the monetary gain of 2 AHs.

So many victims lives torn apart by 1 animal, who's current family stay silent behind their steel hearts.

I have no doubt whatsoever now, the 3 of them know / were involved / to some extent and are heartless just like their father and husband after listening to all of this.

If the police arent looking at every aspect of this case or formally interviewing the family, then its time for the Crime and Corruption Commission to step up.

This whole case has been a SShow from the start.

SL very first enquiry into her mum started with corruption and It's still going.

MR - I found him straight up personally, but TLV team seem to like to burn bridges, instead of letting us come to our own conclusion, they feel the need to disrespect people and give their opinion which IMO is not always on point, something sjust don't need to be said.

Why even bring up if the son is RB's, who cares it doesn't solve the case and only hurts more people, how would they like that seed of doubt planted in their heads about their children.

And AS comes across as sanctimonious and I think I am almost done with the podcast, I just cringe all the way through.
