I reckon AK knew that Audi better than MC's body.
He finds their drive attractive. Though both can get tyred, exhausted - that's wheelie tyred South Aussie in case you didn't know.

Shock absorbers nurse. Stat.
But seriously folks, AK would know the ins and Audi's of that car.

I haven't gotten that far yet, as in whether jammers can be detected.

I'm just throwing ideas out when they arise because unlike a broth with many cooks, an investigation with many minds refines it. Or something like that..
If a jammer was used then 3 would be needed.

1 to jam GPS signals
1 to jam Bluetooth signals
1 to jam mobile phone network.

Ive personally never used one, but if the 7 News Perth video I just watched was anything to go by then I imagine police would be able to detect a jammer was being used if the officer was using a radar gun & no speed was detected on a passing car. Look there are some dumb people that think they’re foolproof, but if I was wanting to avoid detection & not just a speeding ticket then I’d leave my phone & everyday technology at home & bring a burner phone along with a car I’ve borrowed.

Police could well know exactly where AK was searching for MC , it's probably one of the first things they looked for IMO

Yes this is what I was getting at. I imagine they’ve looked at the data being generated by his phone & also the information generated by the AUDI GPS & Hard drive. If say a jammer was being used on one of the cars then there’s also a chance that some kind of discrepancy would show up with the data recorded on the hard drive vs gps & alarm bells would be ringing for the police to play hardball.

Bournda Beach

Dover Heights to Bournda Beach - 8 ways to travel via train, ferry, and plane

I posted this as a few posters suggested that MC could have gone down to the Bournda Beach area by public transport so I wondered how she could have done that. However, I have always thought that she would have gone by car. It is possible but doubt this route would have been her chosen one.

Also it would be good to know when the Audi was seized? I think it was either when the raid happened or not long afterwards. I do have some reservations as to whether anything questionable could even happen involving that Audi as it a) draws too much attention to itself and b) can barely fit anything in the boot or anything at all really

Ok I may need to admit defeat.

After some investigation it seems that the car AK is driving (would love solid confirmation of this) is a 2017 or 2018 AMG A45. Car obtained in 2017 but when it’s manufactured late in the year sometimes they make it the next years model.

I’ve also discovered that it’s one of the models that still isn’t eligible for the adaptor, however the car still has GPS, hard drive etc etc so it would be interesting to see what it tracks. Not sure it will keep past trip info, which was the main benefit of that Mercedes Me app..

It is worth mentioning that considering AK likes his beats and like me he probably likes loud banging music that his phone would be likely to be Bluetooth connected so that the car sound system can access his music library. I’m not seeing long car trips happening without music & radio & CD isn’t going to cut it. Even if he was using a burner phone the car knows the owner / name of that phone as it’s usually displayed & if there’s enough room on the hard drive will keep that phone’s details so it can easily join Bluetooth again.

Sorry I’m kind of nerding out here, but I believe that some movements can be tracked with phone technology, even if a user doesn’t allow gps to be turned on. If the car did go for a trip down the South Coast & a burner phone was taken then the police would likely know about it if they looked at Bluetooth users / history etc.
Nerds are cool. Only boxheads think otherwise x

The AUDI didn't appear to be seized in the raid .... and it was strange that there was barely a mention of both cars in the affidavits... and I think from memory the AUDI was still around for about 2-3 months after the raid.....

That is why yesterdays article was odd.... in that it stated that the AUDI was seized by the Police, and not just repossessed as many have thought..... But often the media don't get it right..... so would be interesting to know what really happened...

The number plates may have just been returned for less obvious plates as there was so much media intrusion???

I feel like we're playing an adult's macabre version of "getting warmer". Like, right now I hear sizzling heat but I feel a touch tepid.

We really are playing that game. Getting warmer then it goes cold. It crushes my spirit to log on for a 3am update because I can't sleep and it's like Antarctica and the posts are frozen...brrrrrr someone warm me up with a goodie!

Or Marco Pol-ice.

Yes I’m reading the documents again & so far no mention of the Audi being seized.

ATM my guess is that it was handed over to someone possibly around the time when the weekly allowance for AK was negotiated, but now I’m just guessing.

I think I read an article about AK selling the plates?
Good way to make some dollars, PAWS whatever is a number plate you would imagine many would want but add some media speculation, someone with too much money and not enough interests and you have someone to splurge on those license plates.

A little bit of info on what Police can find on the data stored in modern cars:

That data is stored in the car's many computers - information is stored by up to 70 computers contained in each car allowing it to become a major law enforcement tool that, depending on which car you’ve driven, can track all your movements, exact routes, who you’ve spoken to and even when you’ve opened the doors.

Law enforcement agencies, including police forces in Australia, are now using ‘vehicle forensics’ software produced by companies like Berla that creates “solutions for investigators to identify, acquire, and analyse critical information stored within vehicle systems to uncover key evidence that determines what happened, where it occurred, and who was involved”.

According to Berla, there are three key categories of information a vehicle can contain that can be crucial to a police investigation. These include:

Vehicle events: The car stores event logs allow investigators to know everything about a car from gear shifts, speed logs, odometer readings, when the car was turned on and off, and even when fuel was added.

Location data: This includes navigation information such as track logs, saved locations, active routes and previous destinations.

Connected devices: Smartphones that have been connected via the USB ports, Bluetooth or wireless network can be identified, along with all of the data associated with those devices. We’re talking phone contacts, calls, texts, social media feeds and everywhere you’ve been.

That information will still be there, even if you’ve deleted it all from the device itself.

I have been thinking about this a lot..... I know Bournda Beach is where the foot/shoe was found, and has a past connection to Melissa.....

However, I think that with the tides and currents it would be more likely that Melissa was a little bit north of Bournda Beach if she was in hiding??? and then suicided or was murdered??? It would make more sense that her foot drifted south... and then washed up there.....

I just cant see that if she was suicidal that she waded out from the same beach and drowned herself ... and her foot came to rest at the exact same beach.....??IYWIM??? Unless we are looking at murder and her foot was placed at that beach for the connection....

I think an Inquest is the only hope BV .... Unless the Police arrest and charge someone, as they know far more than we do at this stage.....

There was an article in the Daily Mail UK, claiming that the plates were up for sale...

‘“2 PAWS' is now available for $479 on the NSW Government's 'MyPlates' service“

Kind of.

IMO we may never solve this case, but we can at least look into the cars & phones as ime multiple sources of data doesn’t lie. I’m hoping the police are already or have already looked into this. IMO it will possibly clear AK , but if there was an issue then at least it could be picked up on quickly. Maybe they’ve already done this, it’s quite possible. But then again some stations / police departments in Sydney & NSW tend to like doing nothing until the answer is staring at them in the face & they’re being exposed for the incompetent idiots they are *coughManlycough*

Furthermore, Piortrowski (Daily Mail UK) reported that “The plates were an apparent reference to Mr Koletti and his missing wife's two pet dogs as well as a nod to his DJ moniker, Paws Off Productions. Daily Mail Australia has established that Mr Koletti's Audi R8 - his pride and joy - was seized by the receivers reviewing his wife's assets in January.”
