I was near AK's previous neighbourhood late February as I had business in Yaguna and on the way back to the Illawarra, my driver pulled over to get out for a cigarette and right next to his car was a huge skeleton and a large Esky, a few metres away was a creek.

It has always bothered me as I believe the bones were a very large pigs, decomposed enough that only a wad of coarse hair and some rib gristle(?) remained.

I may be way off. That's where you guys come in, to help me see if there is relevance to this case.

I've felt like an outsider here pretty much the whole time as a have high functioning Aspergers and don't pick up on social cues & hints and tend to focus on details to the exclusion of the bigger picture, or vice versa.

I just never want to annoy people yet end up doing just that anyway and I'm sorry but I like to interact with others in a way that feels safe such as on an internet forum. WS is the first and so far the only site I've joined in on.

my dear Owl.... 99% of us here on websleuths are nutso, in so many ways, obsessive ( me ) , for example, that you need not concern yourself, merely contribute, and let the chips fall where they may.

In regard to the parked car, I missed it, also, but , to underline the unobservance of it, I think that cars are so identifiable, so hemmed and hung about with government paperwork, electronic history, etc, and fine detail of cars held in police hands that it would have turned up in someone's report. ...

Thankyou Trooper, your kindness means a lot to me.

In regards to the vehicle, there was also a white Jeep or 4WD parked next to the abandoned car for a few days which is what I found interesting.

Also the driver I mentioned was talking about Bullion and guns and a woman with a lawyer husband, John Ibrahim (he owns Unanderra pub, next suburb south of Figtree), a friend with a limp and he also sold a pair of grey ASICS to a mutual friend! I'm very serious!

You can probably see why my imagination ran wild and all this happening right when my beloved pet rabbit died tragically, I guess I did my own head in.

Trooper again I salute you and thanks to all the rational minds on here.

Owl Heart, you are not alone with your Aspergers. What ever happened to the two vehicles, the skeleton and all the rest. Sounds highly fascinating.

We were trying to figure out how she left the house.

It probably is irrelevant so like I mentioned previously, forgive me.

I do have other reasons for my interest in the vehicle although I'm not posting them here, but I'm open to PM.

Have we ascertained how MC left her house, where she went, if she was alone, if she suicided, if she foolishly asked the wrong person for help etc?

If the answer to any of the above is no, then the vehicle is relevant.
It’s not allowing me to contact you privately

l am also having the same issues, what to contact OwlHeart too!
I assume that OwlHeart has their profile settings set to only accept conversations with people that they have checked as "following" on this site. There is a choice of 2 settings, one to accept Members conversations, and the other to only accept people they are "following".

Melissa Caddick: Judge in ASIC case raises concern over how to manage estates
A judge has voiced concerns about how the estates of alleged fraudster Melissa Caddick and her business Maliver will be wound up.

A contradictor would also be appointed to represent Ms Caddick in the proceedings, the court was told.

This person – a lawyer who makes submissions to the court in the absence of a defendant to ensure a fair process – will be appointed by the NSW Bar Association president.

The matter is scheduled for a hearing on June 29.

Sorry, is that "contradictor", or "contractor"?

This is a teeny bit interesting, S... it seems that the brother is no longer her power of attorney thingy due to circumstances unknown. It must be something significant, because a contradictor costs, you guessed it, costs the estate such as it is, whereas the brother would have only been able to claim direct expenses...

However, the court has so appointed , and it is reasonable to assume that Gleeson et al, the Receivers, didn't want to continue with the matter, usually, I'm not saying it is so in this case, but it often happens like this due to the claimants being unable to come to some common ground with the Receiver over money matters.

So now, they have to pay again for a contradictor... who will go over the same ground, most probably.

Again. .. shades of Bleak House...

( Bleak House is the story of the Jarndyce family, who wait in vain to inherit money from a disputed fortune in the settlement of the extremely long-running lawsuit of Jarndyce and Jarndyce. The novel is pointedly critical of England’s Court of Chancery, in which cases could drag on through decades of convoluted legal maneuvering.)

You will all know this from the reports but she is still potentially a missing person, will be good to get the updates from here on her disappearance as well as the wind up of her assets. Still such a mysterious case

Hi owlheart
Speaking of how the mind runs away with you, a while back some drums of acid washed up on a beach, I’m pretty sure in NSW anyway I wondered at the time if it were connected to this case and her disappearance. I guess not as there were no reports to say so but what I’m saying is we all connect dots ....
I too haven’t joined a forum before but I have enjoyed this one and I thank everyone for their contributions

Melissa Caddick: Police say we may never find out how foot got on beach
Police have revealed that the forensic experts may not be able to ascertain how Caddick’s foot, found on a south coast beach, was severed as the rest of her body remains missing.

Summary.....

  • The post mortem on the foot, which has since been cremated in a private ceremony attended by her parents, partner and son, has been completed but police have revealed that the condition of the remains means what happened to the body may never be known.
  • 6 police officers working full time on brief for state coroner Teresa O’Sullivan
  • Brief not expected to be ready by June 19th ( due date ) could still take extra few weeks or months
  • Police have received no forensic report on foot to date
  • Sgt Foscholo said he did not know whether an inquest would be held into Caddick’s cause and manner of death or whether the coroner would be “satisfied based on the evidence we provide”.
  • Sgt Foscholo said “We’re getting statements off all the investors/associates/family members etc and all police involved in the response. So there is quite a bit to compile.”
Above info was released by the federal court today
