It' s worth a try, for the Grimleys , to attempt to position themselves as 'creditors'... but I haven't seen any documentation, and as far as I am aware, neither has the court, of the deals, and conversations, and understandings they claim they had with Melissa. None at all. Not saying they won't turn up at some time, but so far, no paperwork claiming all this hoo haa about money for safekeeping, the deposit for Edgecliff, the this and the that......
It's not uncommon for parents to give their children money, and the court may indeed take that view, that the Grimleys , in an abundance of parental affection, merely gave Melissa money in the hopes that she would finangle it into a flourishing forest of unaccountable cash somewhere down the line..
Or.. perhaps they didn't give Melissa any money at all, and that's just a furphy, trotted out in desperation.
I truly fail to see how the Grimleys were kept unaware of the actual title holder of where they were living. ..There is something so very odd there, even for Dover Heights, it's odd.
