That may have some bearing on how the Grimleys go... I don't fancy their chances much...

And poor A!! out in a fortnight! Sort of order one would hate to get.. . . pack up in a fortnight. .. oh dearie me. ... he'll have to dismantle the recording studio, ...
Pack up the prawn business and scissors and decamp, .......?

I wonder if his father will take him in? At least for a while. And hopefully the lad can go to his real father. I really don't see that they should stay together, even if that was what Melissa wanted.

oh dear, .. but the dogs!! where can the dogs go??

Maybe he'll record "Where Can the Dogs Go?" to the tune of "Who Let the Dogs Out?" :p

In episode 4 of the podcast Liar, Liar ('Friends with Benefits') it is asserted by Kate McClymont that the company name Maliver was formed from the names of MC's family.

I guess the M is for Melissa and the A is for Adam. Her parents are named as Barbara and Edward, so E maybe for Edward, but no B for Barbara -- so who knows if her assertion is correct?

Wonder where the dogs are...as no mention of having to support them in AK’s concise statement!

AK has lived in DH rent free for 17 months (yet again at the expense of the investors) .... it’s time for him to fend for himself and stop the entitlement....since 2012 AK’s life with MC has been at the expense of the investors!

With the G's, the Receiver has submitted to court a reply to them, main points being. .
  • intend to conduct investigations, including by seeking to conduct public examinations of third parties and, potentially, of Mr and Mrs Grimley so as to enable them to form a view as to the existence and validity of the claims made in the CS.
  • a. do not presently intend to apply to displace Mr and Mrs Grimley from their occupation of the Property; and
  • b do not presently seek orders from the Court pursuant to paragraph [6] of the orders made on 22 November 2021, authorising the commencement of proceedings in relation to the Property but may do so after completing investigations and preparing a Statement of Claim for the approval of the Court.
So the top lawyer has managed to buy time for them MOO

It is highly likely that their top lawyer is doing this for a no win, no fee arrangement, which means, of course, if you don't win, then it's good night , Vienna to everyone, but ... if you do win, you pay anywhere up to 60% of it to the lawyer, so if they do win, they will probably have to sell the place to pay the lawyer.,

Nothing comes for free in Sydney!!...

M is Melissa, A is Anthony, and the rest relates to her son’s name.

A public auction of the Dover Heights home of missing con artist Melissa Caddick risks “turning into a circus” because of the amount of publicity the matter has attracted, the Federal Court has heard.

Steven Golledge, SC, who is representing the receivers of Caddick’s assets, told Justice Brigitte Markovic on Monday that a fresh argument has arisen between Caddick’s parents, Barb and Ted Grimley, and receiver Bruce Gleeson about the marketing and sale of the Wallangra Road property that Caddick bought for $6.2 million in 2014.

I’m not able to read the article because it’s paywalled but why would the Grimleys be arguing about the sale of the Wallangra Road house?

SMH usually gives free access for a few articles. Google the title
"Auction of Caddick’s house risks becoming ‘a circus’, court hears" and you may be able to read it.

As to your question, it says: "Robert Newlinds, SC, who is representing the Grimleys, complained that his clients were “disappointed and perplexed” to find the receivers had not provided any details as to how their daughter’s property was going to be marketed, on what terms real estate agents would be engaged and how many valuations would be obtained."

Frankly, I can't see how that is relevant to the sale. I don't see how the Grimleys have any interest in that house -- other than if they have maybe put themselves on the list of victims of her crimes.

Thank-you! I think I’ve used up my quota of free SMH articles for the month.
