And then if you were asked to leave after the booty call, as a doctor in one of the articles suggested, you might be pretty peed off ....

  • #42
Yes, if there was no 'stay over' option, because he had an early start in the morning or whatever! Also those girls who think that letting a guy 'booty call' them will magically lead to more?

Hi Mrs N. Longtime no see. :)

I would think that T-shirt left on indicates seduction was not needed. Booty is probably low on the priority list; the clingy type with low self esteem.

If there was sex there will be dna on the scene. Lets hope the laundry was recent. Has to be a case of just waiting for the lab results now...

Paid Booty Call or Friend Booty Call?
Seems a short time before things went terribly wrong if it was someone he knew.

Hi MM!!!! Good to see you again! Ah yes you could be right about the t-shirt .. Straight down to business. I can't help thinking that murder was the intent and sex was to get his guard down. Although that intent may have been short lived and wasn't thought out.

Oh and referencing an earlier post, I think door ajar was left that way by the killer leaving in a rush.

Every time I see that there is a new post here I think it must be to say there has been an arrest, because I really think they must be close now. In the article linked above it says a woman got a text asking her over for a booty call in the days before he was killed, but she declined.

Just as a curiosity .. it'd be interesting to see that booty call pattern, I've always assumed that if a guy texts a girl for a booty call and she says no, that he just works his way down the list until he finds one that says yes. I wonder how much the feeling of 'being used' fed into whoever killed him that night?

I mean you know, like what if you're at a booty call and the guy says you were third on his list and the other two said no, or you see his phone or similar.

bbm

I bet there will be an arrest when DNA comes back.

Yes, interesting. I clearly recommend to my 19 yo son NOT to have too many girl friends!

Did you keep up with the Jody Arias trial?
Maybe his bc - booty call - can we add that to WS lingo? :) did keep up with JA trial
and got ideas from that case. Sounds like it … back wounds, neck wounds.

or if in the height of the booty call, he calls out a name that is not the name of the woman he is with?
or he gets constant calls or texts during the bc or she wanted to stay in his bed and he dismissed her?
or this particular bc found out she was infected with a STD and confronted him?

I wonder if the 14 women had any sort of inkling that he had numerous bc's?

Did he have defensive wounds?

ETA: I see in the posts after yours, others had the same thoughts I did! Sorry, I did not read those before posting. :blushing: Need more coffee!

...or maybe he just rolled over and snored.

...or maybe he just rolled over and snored.

Seems that way to me too, by the positioning of the wounds.

Sounds like someone who desperately wanted Gary’s attention, doesn’t it? And finally realised she wasn’t going to get it .. ever .. not for anything other than the occasional booty call late at night. And maybe she was told that this was going to be the last one of those too.

I swear I wish we had relationship advice as part of a school curriculum .. most of us in our 20s just take advice from our peers who are equally unsure of how to handle things.

SLAIN Neutral Bay casanova Morgan Huxley was gearing up to be best man at one of his closest mate's wedding.

Only weeks before his grisly death, popular 31-year-old Mr Huxley had been asked by his schoolboy friend Chris Moroney to fulfil the special duty at his wedding, planned for next year.

Inside the shocking murder of the North Shore Casanova Morgan Huxley

Mr Moroney, who has spoken passionately about his friendship with Mr Huxley, proposed to his girlfriend, Vogue market editor Pip Brophy, in early July.

The Daily Telegraph understands a deeply upset Mr Moroney has told friends that he will honour Mr Huxley by keeping his place in the bridal party and not replacing him.

Woops! Too late to correct it now, too!

In case anyone else is wondering who the heck I'm talking about in post #48 above ... it is Morgan, not Gary :blushing: (sound sort of the same don't they ?! not! )

Been spending too much time on another thread obviously! :)

(Thanks FigTree .. will be more careful in the future!)

Huxley bedroom DNA murder clue

POLICE have gathered DNA samples from the bedroom where Neutral Bay man Morgan Huxley was killed, in hopes they can now match them against murder suspects.

Police would not reveal yesterday how many men or women had been asked to voluntarily provide a DNA sample which would then rule them in or out of the high-profile murder investigation.

It is understood some of the 14 women Mr Huxley was romantically linked to at the time of his death will be required to provide a DNA sample.

_____

It is understood that Jessica Orcsik, the 28-year-old daughter of Australian actor Paula Duncan who dated Mr Huxley earlier this year, has not been asked to provide a DNA sample to police.

I believe there just might be one person who is shaking in her boots right about now...

I wonder how many voluntarily gave DNA... And how many will need to be asked?

I guess JO had an alibi?

Per this article....Redmond, Morgan's flat mate... And her boy friend... Are not considered persons of interest...

Well remember .. cell phones are GPS trackers now too. They'd know if someone was where they said they were that night or not by now. Expect arrest soon IMO. They'd be hoping that someone will just come forward and be willing to talk right now. I mean they may as well just hand themselves in, police sound very confident.

Yes, two weeks is definitely long enough for police to establish the probable whereabouts of potential suspects by their mobile phone records/GPS data/pings from various towers. As well as witness sightings of those potential suspects in other places for the whole time between 1:30am and 3:00am.

It is good that they are narrowing down their list of suspects. I wonder if JO knows of someone with a 'screw loose' or someone who had been hounding Morgan for his attention. She and Morgan may have discussed the matter, as I believe they were friends for many years. Or maybe she just hasn't been asked to provide a DNA swab ... yet.

I guess the reliability of the info provided in the Daily Telegraph is dependent on exactly who provided the info.

The way the papers are being written reminds me a lot of the way it went down in the Jason Downie case, it all had a very controlled feel about it, and when reading back after the arrest you could see they dropped little comments in there just for him. Oh another thing they did, his photo popped up a few times in media before arrest, including one of him placing a card at the memorial site, a card which police took away and used as one of the matches for his DNA. I think LE drop 'we're onto you' clues in media, or the opposite, depending on the person they're dealing with.

Good point by the way!! I bet you're right that Morgan ;) could have confided in someone about the women he was seeing, like maybe the flatmate too who would have been aware of the comings and goings around the house.

Fast forward to an arrest please!!

I'm a late comer to this thread, but I've been keeping up in MSM.

From the get go I felt that an arrest would be made and I hope that's soon!!!

I'm astounded that there were 14 women that he had 'romantic links to' prior to his death. Maybe those girls saying that he wasn't the type to make enemies didn't know that? Because I can't imagine how someone who is linked with so many women can not have enemies both male and female! If you piss off women, they're going to talk and men get pissed off too! Having said all that, I believe that it was a woman and I believe that the police knew who very soon afterwards and that they're just crossing T's and dotting i's.

I hope there is an arrest very soon. Such a waste of life. I really feel for his friends and family, he seems like such a wonderful person to know.
