Hi everyone, its been really interesting reading some very compelling theories. I have to say after reading some of the recent posts, I feel so desperately sorry for this poor man's family with all the media-fueled wild speculation about his character. Its so unfair considering the agony they will be enduring. As some have said, there is no evidence ATM whatsoever that he was seeing 14 women simultaneously, irresponsible reporting IMHO.

Yeah it's true, if you're not in a relationship it's normal to have a lover or two on the go, just for fun. Only time it becomes an issue is if someone gets involved when they know it's supposed to be a no strings attached setup, or if and ex thinks you've moved on a little too quickly. Usually it's understood that feeling like you have any rights to someone who you were just having a casual relationship with is your own problem, not theirs.

Morgan was of ‘marriagable age’. He was still playing the field, but perhaps at least some of his girlfriends were looking for more of a long-term relationship. And perhaps one thought she had found it, and was mighty angry when it turned out not to be the case? She may have felt led-on, or she may have dreamed it all up in her own head.

I think he could have been stalked that night. Maybe starting with a confrontation at his flat, then watched from the carpark on Military Road. Was Morgan waiting for someone to perhaps finish work at The Oaks? Did the stalker watch an amorous farewell near The Oaks, or perhaps an amorous farewell on Morgan’s doorstep after a nightcap with a girl, and then she returned to Morgan’s flat in a state of psychotic anger? Someone had sex with Morgan that night, but was it the killer?

Its difficult not to wildly speculate about the various people we have seen in media reports when there has been no real news on the case for so long! Are the police calmly collecting a battery of evidence to prosecute the killer, or are they as clueless as we are? I hope its the former and not the latter...If they have known who the killer is from early on in the piece, would that point towards this being a 'crime of passion' and not a carefully premeditated killing? One minute I think it was definitely so and so, then when I read someone else's convincing theory I start to suspect another character in this real life "Prime Suspect" case!

I think one of the big differences between men and women (apart from the obvious) is what they like to do after sex.
Women like to talk, and bring up topics like "where is this relationship going".
Men like to sleep, especially if they don't want to weigh into the topic of conversation.

Doesn't usually go so well if she is emotionally insecure and he wants to keep his options open.

The sexual participant... And the killer... May not be one and the same...and could be part of what is "muddying" the evidence for LE.... :waitasec:

Often, after the court case, you learn LE released specific information intentionally to rattle the perp.

They actually make comments in the press on purpose.

Did LE actually announce this detail, or was it someone involved who revealed it? :waitasec:

Ok just thinking (because I find the fact he was just wearing the t-shirt strange), what if after sex the woman did try and ask Morgan if he was seeing anyone else, or start a conversation where it became obvious she thought she had more rights to him than he considered fair or worth dealing with, or showed some jealousy towards another female in his life and things got heated? Maybe Morgan said 'Look we've been through this before, I'm tired of discussing it .. I think you ought to just go.' and as it became worse he put ON the t-shirt when he realized he'd actually have to escort her to the door to get her to leave, and was sitting on the bed getting ready to put his pants on when she rushed him with the knife?

If this is the scenario or close to it she would be better off calling a lawyer if arrested (or even before, and hand herself in) and start negotiations for a confession and the showing of major remorse. The courts will look upon her more favorably if she does so. Hiring a psychologist to explain why she acted out so viciously will also help her. If she waits for police to do all their digging and doesn't throw herself on the mercy of the courts she'll find that come sentencing things will not go the way she likes.

Very good point! Could the sex partner have departed after the rendezvous, leaving MH to sleep, leaving the front door closed but the deadlock unsecured?

IMHO, a man wearing 'just a t-shirt' is (usually) a man who is asleep. JMO, and please don't judge :blushing: none of us were born yesterday!

I took a look at the front door of Morgan's flat again last night. It looks like it has a deadlock with a separate turning handle underneath.

A key is usually (always?) required to lock a deadlock, and those push-in locks on turning handles are pretty easy to manipulate, and sometimes they break and won't push in anymore.

That's what I thought too until I stood there the other week and watched a friend with a colourful past quickly and quietly pop mine when I accidentally locked myself out.

I was horrified. It is very very easy to overcome even a deadlock if you know how.

Some men don't wear underpants ... ever ... or as little as possible anyway. (I knew one years ago). Maybe Morgan was one of those men. Slip off your shorts/jeans and hop into bed maybe?

The media was describing morgan as a casanova and if you look up the definition of a casanova its definately not someone who is dating a woman longterm or interested in any relationship other than sex i guesd thats why he had romantic links to 14 women leading up to his death as a young man who left a serious longterm gf who spent most of their 20's together i hardly see how a young man starting up a business finishing a longterm relationship would be interested in rushing or jumping back into a longterm relationship with any woman in the near future
I also came across another site where a couple of people both posted that he had been or just started seeing 2 women they knew if either of these werent RP then that would be 3 woman he was at least involved with
I dont find anything appealing about morgans profile projected in the media that would make me in the slightest bit interested in him romantically hes definately not my type I guess who ever did this no longer found it appealing to her
my view is that morgan was having what he thinks was fun sleeping with whom ever was stupid enough to fall for his charm to be used for sex while concentrating on developing his business
