Yes I’m especially interested in whom she was talking to at midnight, and what she did in the next hour or two. I think these hours are vitally important.
I'm wondering if the late night device use was normal? I certainly don't talk to people at midnight. One might talk at that time due to timezone differences... or about something very important...

The Australian articles are very interesting. Sorry I can't provide links but the titles are:

Lesley Trotter’s mystery bin death deepens: ‘You could be in the same building as a murderer’ 12 May 2023

Body in bin: is there a killer in the block? 13 May 2023

Also interesting that no other news outlets (such as the Daily Mail) have picked up and published anything.

I also still find that if someone else has been involved in her death, they knew the rubbish collection dates were on a Tue morning.

Has it been released the unit number and street number of Lesley's unit?

Just wanting to know before adding something.

@neighbour4462 do you know this or are you within your verification allowed to disclose this?

In this video of the real estate agent, he notes that the sale of the property was not from the highest offer but from a buyer who offered less and also because of the special conditions that were attached.

In the property itself, It looks like Lesley had the spare room set up with her computer and desk, and reading chair. I wonder if she spent time at night in this room reading a book or going online on the laptop.

They seem to change the title regularly. The latest is:

Foul play and bad habits: the strange case of Lesley Trotter 16 May 2023

Police canvassed the possibility a retired Queensland teacher deliberately limbed into a wheelie bin, but foul play is firming as the most favoured scenario in a baffling whodunit.

I noticed that, too. Same article, different days. It seems that the article was first in the Weekend Australian, and they are re-running it. At least, the article says that it was reporters from Weekend Australian who went there and interviewed some neighbours.

Yes, back in the threads we found the special conditions. The real estate agent had put up the offers on his Instagram site.

The accepted offer was only $1,000 less than the highest bid, and it had no conditions. The highest bidder wanted a 28-day settlement. Which probably didn't suit Lesley's later date for moving to the retirement unit. imo

If you look through his Instagram account "brettandreassen" you will find a video there where he shows the list of offers. I think I paused the video and zoomed in on the list to read the offers.

I know I’ve mentioned my dear old pop before but here’s another anecdote.
He would only sell his home in Sydney to a caucasian Australian. Took us a while to find the right buyers for him and they definitely were not the highest offer. I wonder if that was one of the “silent” special conditions.

Deleted as I hadn’t refreshed properly!

Can bet the agent is shocked and also saddened in this event. Even sadder that Lesley was not able to move into the unit and move forward in her life after the sale

I think this is from the same article that South posted, behind paywall

Foul play and bad habits: the strange case of Lesley Trotter

I can actually read this using a different browser but it seems like there's nothing new in it.

Nothing new, but a reminder that her body was recorded on CCTV as it was being tipped into the truck :(

Hello,
Police have been taking DNA samples from some people in the Lesley Trotter investigation. Does anyone know anything about the Qld Police process when investigating? Like how far into an investigation are DNA samples taken & how long do samples take to analysis for legal purposes? Does taking a DNA sample mean that person is a suspect? Thanks!

I have no idea about most of what you've asked. But IMO if they have taken mass samples it would more rule them out and if just an individual I would go with being a POI

The people may be a suspects, or possibly the police are taking samples from some people just to rule them out.

But, it sounds like the investigation is still moving forward.

If they're taking DNA, then it's possible that they have potentially discovered DNA to match it with.

Do you know how many people they've taken samples from?
