I'm wondering if the late night device use was normal? I certainly don't talk to people at midnight. One might talk at that time due to timezone differences... or about something very important...

I noticed that, too. Same article, different days. It seems that the article was first in the Weekend Australian, and they are re-running it. At least, the article says that it was reporters from Weekend Australian who went there and interviewed some neighbours.

Yes, back in the threads we found the special conditions. The real estate agent had put up the offers on his Instagram site.

The accepted offer was only $1,000 less than the highest bid, and it had no conditions. The highest bidder wanted a 28-day settlement. Which probably didn't suit Lesley's later date for moving to the retirement unit. imo

If you look through his Instagram account "brettandreassen" you will find a video there where he shows the list of offers. I think I paused the video and zoomed in on the list to read the offers.

I know I’ve mentioned my dear old pop before but here’s another anecdote.
He would only sell his home in Sydney to a caucasian Australian. Took us a while to find the right buyers for him and they definitely were not the highest offer. I wonder if that was one of the “silent” special conditions.

I have no idea about most of what you've asked. But IMO if they have taken mass samples it would more rule them out and if just an individual I would go with being a POI

The people may be a suspects, or possibly the police are taking samples from some people just to rule them out.

But, it sounds like the investigation is still moving forward.
