Oooh ahhh I’m reading that in a different light now.
Like cocoon part two.. It's not baffling that there's misadventure in the rugged high country,, but it's baffling that there's no discovery of them allYes where are all these missing people. Everyone has to be somewhere.
Somewhere... waiting to be brought home.
I heard about this awhile back. I believe part privacy & part unwanted nuisance calls.I've noticed something new re missing people.
It seemed to start last week and may be a Vic Police thing.
Googling around has found all the new cases where the Police appealed for help locating a missing person now only uses their first names.
It may be a privacy thing, or at least that's all I can think of.

A good thing that has started in NSW is that they are sending out a text message to everyone in the area as soon as they hear someone is missing. It is a fabulous way, I think, to combine technology and public assistance.
Do you mean he wasn't driving a 4WD that night or you know he didn't have one?The year before carol & Russell went missing we were up that way , not as far as won but a town . We were in a group one night & had a strange/scary encounter with a strange man ( not buttons) this man had a bad fixation about drones & that he believed the gov were following him . He also followed us... His saving grace might be that he didn’t have a four wheel drive to tackle the terrain up there but a low base normal car . I do believe the police were told about this incident at the time. I suppose it's ok to post this if it's not taken off by the mods... I repeat scary
He wasn't driving one that night & thought his only car bc he looked like he lived in it. It's not too say he doesn't have another car though.Do you mean he wasn't driving a 4WD that night or you know he didn't have one?
Or a homeHe wasn't driving one that night & thought his only car bc he looked like he lived in it. It's not too say he doesn't have another car though.
Fair enough. He didn't have the appearance of an owner of multiple vehicles.Or a home
No he didn't. .. He talked about a murder that happened near city that he was a witness. A well known case. , he then imitated what he thought happened in the case with making stabbing gestures at my chest ..mmm. obviously would have been looked into and cleared...Fair enough. He didn't have the appearance of an owner of multiple vehicles.
So when the Police were searching & finding shovels and other things, I presume they were also using metal detectors?
If a perp saw this news and knew that it has nothing to do with the disappearances then a reaction from someone either way would be telling...
