I thought GL lodged an appeal last year. Does anyone know what the latest is?
That media pressure certainly worked and Lynn got his paint brush out and painted his car a different colour and may have said a few things that were recorded by police..![]()

Police had their suspect, but they needed to turn up the heat. They wanted Greg Lynn under immense pressure. So they turned to the media.www.smh.com.au

“Substantial miscarriage of justice eh?” Try telling that to Carol and Russell’s grieving families. This appeal is nothing short of an utter disgrace.![]()
Appeal date set for high country killer Greg Lynn
High country killer Greg Lynn will have to wait another three months before he will get his appeal showdown.
Victoria’s Court of Appeal has listed the former airline pilot’s appeal against his conviction and sentence for October 31.
Thats how it works!! he is entitled to request an appeal hearing, not that he has been granted that event.. To have it granted, Greggy will have to show new evidence or some substantial error of the judge,..... rather unlikely circumstances, all things considered.I took it to mean that the upcoming court date is to decide if an appeal will be granted or not.

I got the impression that Greg Lynn didn't think what he did deserved a lengthy prison sentence.
Yes you're right.I got the impression he thought it didn't deserve an arrest.
Another example of a man escaping from a lions den who goes back for his hat. It will be interesting if that suppression order is lifted on the press, re Lynn's previous escapades, for want of a better word...Yes you're right.
Not to me, it isn't.Lynn apologised for his “selfish and callous” efforts to burn Ms Clay’s and Mr Hill’s remains, saying he had reasons
Lynn will further argue his 32-year sentence — seven years above the standard sentence of 25 — is “manifestly excessive”.
Do you think there may be a few 'skeletons' in the closet. His whole life needs a good going over.
