One of the last photos of Trisha, looks like she has a bank card in her hand.

I find it so odd that if she was tasked with getting beer for her partner, why on earth wasn’t she in a hurry to bring him his beer? She was eventually making her way home at 2am. I find it extremely odd to have been tasked with the beer buying trip, yet not have any money. Puzzling!!!
And if the beer was needed and it didn't get home in a timely manner, maybe the partner was not happy! However it sounded more like Trisha went out for a night out.

This looks like a mobile in her hand….

I am really wondering why she looked so very happy in the two photos Police have released, when I would think she wouldn’t feel very good knowing she didn’t have any money…….

Tony said he had forgotten to transfer money for her and by the time he found out someone else had paid for the drinks

I have two questions for your program Ping that I would like you to ask Tony.

Good afternoon Tony. It must be devastating what you and Max are experiencing.I hope you are getting the support you all need.

Firstly, how did Kymmy decide on searching the area near the blue dam where the car was found. How soon within the hour of you both searching together?

Secondly, was it a usual practice for Trisha to stay at the hotel longer than it is needed, while purchasing a takeaway beer. Why would Kymmy say an 'unnamed man' purchased the beer?

I hope you and the family get answers soon.

And according to her son Max (from Ping’s YouTube interview) she had left her phone at home. I’m curious about whether this was unusual for Trisha.

She apparently called her partner Tony from Roxby Downs to ask him to transfer the money for beer. We haven’t been told whose phone she used to call Tony.

It would be interesting to know if Police have traced any phone pings to the Blue Dam area to see who else might have been out there in the early hours of the morning.
I wonder if they can triangulate phone pings if there are not many cell towers??
It looks like there is one tower in near Andamooka.

In the first interview with Max and Tony they clarify that it was not Kymmy that suggested searching the Blue Dam area but rather one of Tony’s friends. The media seem to have misled people there.
Kymmy did not accompany Tony when he located the vehicle it was one of his local friends.

Thank you. That is very interesting. I wonder why the friend suggested that they search there?

Yes, another poster also made the declaration.

Max said that is the key fob for her car and she had left her mobile phone at home.

I wonder why she left her mobile at home? Driving in the middle of the night in the desert without a phone is not a good idea. I understand Kymmy might have a phone, but it is a strange decision to make. Voluntarily or not.

Maybe little or no coverage

There is a phone tower in the vicinity of the town. What about the declaration that Trisha made a call to transfer money in the hotel?

My heart breaks for Max. This little boy desperately wants his mum.

That was at the hotel. But on the trip there and back, might not have had coverage.

Just another thought: it has just occurred to me how close Lake Torrens is to Andamooka, ~20 mins drive (13km). Would be a good disposal site if one was to drive there in the middle of the night and on the way back get rid of a car at Blue Dam, which is just a few hundred metres detour from Lake Torrens rd.

ETA: the 26 mins indicated in the map is including the detour. From Andamooka to Lake Torrens and back without detour is ~20mins each way.

Awkwardly replying to my post to clarify that Lake Torrens is often and in most places dry, but depending on weather it may have variable amounts of water in some areas.

"Lake Torrens is usually a dry salt flat with patches of seasonal water. Thunderstorms occasionally provide a small amount of water in the lake and when this occurs the area attracts a variety of birdlife."

Lake Torrens, parks SA

So maybe not so straight forward as a disposal site. Probably better to consider a mine shaft, but who knows.

Good point. As I mentioned earlier. If only we can get a overhead photo or the position/location of the vehicle, so we can ascertain what direction the vehicle is going/leaving from. I think the vehicle damage happened after Andamooka, rather than before.

This is the information put forward by Max on Ping’s YouTube;

.Trish and Kim went to Roxby Downs to buy alcohol for Tony.
.Tony forgot to transfer money into the savings account for the alcohol.
.Trisha’s car was found turned off, locked with the button on the key, passenger window was left down and the lights left on.
.1thong was found in the car, the other was outside the car broken.
. Max and Tony had never been to Blue Dam before.
.Tony was with his mate when they found the car after his friend suggested looking there.
. Trisha hit a small kangaroo on the way back from Roxby Downs. Then Trisha and Kim went to a man’s place called Smurf whom Trisha had never met before. Apparently she left there alone and hasn’t been seen since.
. Tony was home the night Trish went missing.
. The alcohol was found on the backseat of the car, the bag was ripped open and someone took a drink out.
. Trisha would never go out there and she wouldn’t drive like that.
. There were a couple of Wild Turkey cans scattered along the dirt road as well.
. Trisha apparently left the friends house at 2am. It was a 5 minute drive home.
. There are a lot of mine shafts out near the dam.
. The passenger side seat belt was done up. Kim had done this to stop it beeping. She wasn’t wearing it, she sat on it instead.
. Max and Tony don’t know if Kim went out to the dam with her or not.
. Tony went looking for Trisha at Kim’s mother’s house. She used the phone tracker and saw that Kim was at Smurf’s house but Trisha wasn’t there.
. Trisha was looking happy in the camera footage when she was last seen.
. Everything was still in the car . The air freshener had been ripped off and put in the cup holder in the central console.
. The roo only took out the front light. The rest of the damage was from something else.
. Trisha would never leave her kids and she’s a lovely lady.
. In the past she’s always stayed in contact.
. Trisha doesn’t drink VB. She wouldn’t have drank it.
. Her phone was left at home.
. The car key is in her hand in the picture.
. Max and Tony have no clue why Trisha would be out at Blue Dam.
. Trisha didn’t know Smurf at all.
. She only saw Kim a couple of times and had a couple of drinks.
. Trisha was really drunk that night, she had trouble walking to the toilet.
. Max and Tony are not sure how she could drive in that state or walk away from where the car was bogged. They don’t know why she was not found with her car.
. Trisha and Kim met through one of her friends in town.

Ping, you have a beautiful, kind way of talking to Max . Thanks for your show.
Can you ask Max were her thongs left on the passenger side or drivers side of the car please?
