Desperate Qld parents plea for info on son

Very sad for Samuel's family, I hope the police get a break in this case soon and find out what happened. It's an awful situation for sure.

Detectives investigating the suspicious disappearance of 22-year-old Samuel Thompson who went missing from Albion two weeks ago have today released CCTV images of a vehicle of interest.

Samuel (pictured) was last seen leaving his Albion residence at 9.20am on Tuesday, March 7 in his orange 2016 Ford Mustang with personalised Queensland registration, ‘SAMMO’.

Footage released today depicts a white Chrysler 300 (similar to the one pictured) following Sam’s vehicle in the Bald Hills area on the same day.

At least the Chrysler is also somewhat distinctive....people may remember seeing it more than they would a Toyota Camry, for example. Fingers crossed.

I wish this information had been out there when it was fresher in people's minds, but people (particularly males) remember cars quite clearly, so I hope that it helps!!!!!

No, the parents described Sam's relationship with his dog as one of partners, never separated for more than a few hours.

That's so sad, and speaking of dogs does anyone know if they have used S&R dogs in Sam's case?

i think he has a girlfriend, some msm articles mention a "current" girlfriend, wondering if the chihuahua belonged to her, theres a tiny dog seen escaping his property when the door is opened in the robbery video, but only the staffie is mentioned as being left alone in his flat

Yes that could be. I wonder if someone was threatening him over something? I haven't recalled all the info. in this case, but does he have a mobile phone with him? Wonder if there is anything that can be retrieved from his phone, pings etc?
