Hi there :)

I'm getting the impression that he was a volunteer fighter and not actually in the army from what I've read so far. Interesting to know if this is the case, and if so why he chose that avenue rather than the Forces.

Ashley did hos basic training and ended up with a back injury thst saw him medically diacharged and unable to continue his military career. This lead him to bodybuilding and ultimately winning gold in the Pan Pacific games. My son also went to school with Ash and ia still a mate .

She hadn't been in a war zone.

Nor was she tried in Australia.
Though I wonder if his history will even be allowed to be brought up in any trial. Our courtroom procedures are considerably different than those in the US.

Really? Weed is up to around $3-400 an ounce in Brisbane. These guys deal in many pounds at a time. It's big business, and it's harder to get than ice in this city.
I think per kilo, not ounce, lol.

BRISBANE man Ashley Dyball turned to fighting ISIS with Kurdish militants in the Middle East after being rejected by the Australian Army, his friends say.

However a former army brigadier who sits on the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security stressed that groups like the Kurdish People’s Protection (YPG) units were a poor substitute for a well-trained, legal force.

“It is against the law to travel to fight with a proscribed (terrorist) organisation and it is an extremely poor substitute to joining a well-trained, legal force in countries like Australia,” Federal Government whip Andrew Nikolic said.

YPG are NOT terrorists. PKK are. He was discharged medically due to a back injury sustained during basic training and was not allowed to continue.

Absolutely. There's no comparison between the two.

No, that's an ounce. Lol
There $250-$320 an ounce around the north side of Brisbane. Depends on the quality.

Well, there's something that makes me think of his FB page comment. Should he go for quality or quantity.

If you read the media articles he broke Australian law, and nowhere does it say he was deployed as a soldier to fight in a war zone. He was not accepted into the Australian Army. Basic training is only a few weeks, and he didn't make the grade. He had no right to be where he went, and i don't know what people don't get about that?

I'm really curious why you would try to correct me, and even "lol" when you obviously haven't bought weed in a very long while. You think you can get a kilogram of weed for $400? I wish haha.

No. 28g is an ounce. It's generally $50-60 for an 1/8 ounce, around $110 for 1/4, about $200 for 1/2 and like I said, $3-400 for a full ounce.

There are 28gm in an ounce so it's 3.5gm to an 1/8, 7gm a 1/4, 14gm 1/2 ounce etc.

Yes, I know what I'm talking about :)

Yeh that sounds about right, but for known strains with good genetics, some boutique sellers go over $400. Not like the states, you can get an ounce in Cali for $100!

Interesting you noted that. I checked that footage myself and I noted the bumbag was slung over the shoulder left to right hip, same way Ash used to sling his Nike bumbag in Kurdistan. :( I hope we are wrong here

That might depend on who you know too. And current prices where i am. Have no need to buy the stuff, LOL.

I guess you're referring to Qld. prices, ok.
Well that's where we both live and where this happened, but where can you get a kg for $3-400?
