I'm getting the impression that he was a volunteer fighter and not actually in the army from what I've read so far. Interesting to know if this is the case, and if so why he chose that avenue rather than the Forces.

Ashley did hos basic training and ended up with a back injury thst saw him medically diacharged and unable to continue his military career. This lead him to bodybuilding and ultimately winning gold in the Pan Pacific games. My son also went to school with Ash and ia still a mate .

However a former army brigadier who sits on the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security stressed that groups like the Kurdish People’s Protection (YPG) units were a poor substitute for a well-trained, legal force.

This profile was cloned a few months ago and we had been trting to get it shut down but fb wouldn't shut it down. Apparently it didnt breach anything according to them evn though it was no.longer Ashleys page. Yes ir is his 300c that was held in storage while he was in Kurdistan. The other pics were also lifted from his profile but the few posta there are something woyld never post

YPG are NOT terrorists. PKK are. He was discharged medically due to a back injury sustained during basic training and was not allowed to continue.

If you read the media articles he broke Australian law, and nowhere does it say he was deployed as a soldier to fight in a war zone. He was not accepted into the Australian Army. Basic training is only a few weeks, and he didn't make the grade. He had no right to be where he went, and i don't know what people don't get about that?

No. 28g is an ounce. It's generally $50-60 for an 1/8 ounce, around $110 for 1/4, about $200 for 1/2 and like I said, $3-400 for a full ounce.

There are 28gm in an ounce so it's 3.5gm to an 1/8, 7gm a 1/4, 14gm 1/2 ounce etc.

Yeh that sounds about right, but for known strains with good genetics, some boutique sellers go over $400. Not like the states, you can get an ounce in Cali for $100!
