Holy cow! VicPol and the AFP have seized 903 kg of ice, street value nearly nine million dollars, in a shipment of floorboards!!!

Glad to see that not make it to its planned destination, into the bodies of Aussies all over the place.

This scourge is just an unending stream. :gaah:

If you know the area sams house at albion is only say 20 mins away from the sandgate road footage so there is a bit of a time gap where did he go

As police increase their efforts, detectives have today released dash cam footage taken from a motorcycle on March 7 (link posted below).


The footage features the orange Mustang travelling northbound on Sandgate Road through Nundah between 10am and 11am.


His vehicle was then sighted in the carpark of the Deep Water Bend Reserve at Bald Hills around 1pm on Tuesday and remained there until the following day.


The Mustang was again sighted in Wooyung, Northern New South Wales, around 7.30pm on Wednesday, March 8 before being located abandoned by police at the same location on Tweed Coast Road Thursday, March 9.

Doesn't leave a lot of time for the murder, does it? Unless, as JaGuR suggests, they may have met at Deep Water Bend and gone back to RB's place ... where the murder occurred later.

That could have been a way to stay under police drug-dealing radar - for very noticeable cars, like Sam's car. As I would imagine RB's place would be very easy to watch being across the road from the pub, and across the road from the pub carpark, too. If the police had been interested in the activities emanating from that household. (Which also could have been why the police were so quick to jump to the foul play conclusion.)

I've gone back to reading quietly again but just wanted to say that the statement that the car stayed overnight (solidly from the 1pm sighting, I mean) at DWB is clearly wrong. Nickers is 100% correct that the Kluver Street cctv of the chrysler tailing the mustang is *leaving* Deep Water Bend, there is one road in and out. The shadows indicate late-mid afternoon. [I know that road so well!]

to help my own head with the timeline, I collected all the sightings off social media & made an "informal timeline" as I could see that the official version was somehow out. But don't think I can post all that here... it looks good in retrospect though and most of those people said they reported to the police, so hopefully they were very helpful in securing cctv of various parts of a complicated traverse of the north side!

So it sounds as if the Deep Water Bend info is multiple sightings at different times, with Sam's car leaving and returning in between, as opposed to Sam's car being continuously there from 1pm till midnight.

So he was murdered between 11 am and 1 pm on the 7th.
His car was then moved to dwb while they figured out what to do with his body.
After dumping his body in the forest they then moved his car from dwb to nsw's with AD following in his white chrysler ?

Just want to add that on the 25th of march I was driving to strathpine and there were two D's sitting around the corner from RB's place watching. The arrests happened later that week and the police had only packed up and left the house yesterday. Somebody has since been to the house and placed the rubbish bins outside today

Wonder if they were watching from afar to record visitors to the house? To add to their drug activities list ... their possible involved parties list. Someone earlier in the thread said that they would not be surprised if quite a number of arrests eventuated from this.

Could be very tough for the owner to re-rent or sell this house for a while.

Cctv would be from the bonny pub directly opposite rbs house, it has white cctv cameras under the roof.

Found out Sam would take his vehicle to Dealer Solutions at Albion. Its is a business that gives solutions and advice to car dealerships. They also say they provide car history reports etc i imagine thats why he would go there? Anyone understand this business more?
