I don't think they will rat each other out, so the charges as charged will apply to both of them.

Yes, you could be right, it will depend on how they plead I suppose. If either or both go for 'not guilty', then the game is on.

I said that I think Sam thought he was coming back. And him leaving the dog alone at home was proof that he expected it to be a short visit.

(I was responding to a previous post of Seabreeze's.....you'll see the train of conversation if you read back)

Well that's what i said about ST coming back.

Not sure how it works in Aus., but i know in cases i have followed in the U.S. that lawyers will tell their clients to plead NG. It is just legal process, and when they plea it then gives attorney's time to get ready for Trial. Unless there is a plea deal on the table.

Has there been any further word on whether the body LE found is actually verified as being ST?
Haven't seen any further info. on it anywhere so was just wondering?

Thanks. I couldn't find anything in media articles about it either? So it's just a "maybe" right now, even though there is a chance it is the victim.
It usually doesn't take too long to test and see who it actually is with the technology they have nowadays. I'm thinking of the K. Ristevski case, and the victim in that case was badly decomposed, and had been out in the elements for about 8 mnths. Hopefully it can be confirmed one way or the other soon. And i'm sure LE is keeping ST's family up to date and that's all that matters.

I'd not read this description of the actual grave before:

Police investigating the disappearance of Brisbane man Samuel Thompson have found what appears to be a shallow grave in a pine forest at Caboolture, north of Brisbane.

"It's about 12 inches above general land level and possibly six feet in length," Detective Inspector Tim Trezise said.

From three days ago, when the body was found (BBM):

Police searching for missing Brisbane man Samuel Thompson believe they have found a grave site but say it will take several days to confirm the identity of the deceased.

Inspector Trezise said it was too early to reveal the identity of the deceased.

"It will take several days to identify as we have to go slowly and carefully to treat the remains with respect and there may also be more evidence," he said.

BBM

I suspect that is the case. Not only did he not appear worried beforehand, as nickers said, but as we've discussed earlier, he left his beloved dog at home. I think he thought he was doing a quick pick-up or sale.....(or the meeting could have been completely non drug related but he thought it would be brief)

Have we considered that ST was not in debt and was perhaps making a sale, and something went wrong... AD & RB didn't want to pay up etc
i know this does not explain the home invasion but just a thought...

Anythings possible. Need a motive that ties both AD and RB to want to do this to ST thoigh.

Boscaino was a tradie we believe because of his ABN and Dyball had different jobs as described by another member such as removing asbestos. I also had found out Dyball had worked at a postoffice in lutwyche for a period.

That could well be. Wasn't there cctv footage of ST placing something under his shirt or somewhere on himself? Something he was perhaps hiding? And wasn't his behaviour on the footage at around the time he left the apt. building a bit odd too? I'm sure the police would probably know more.

Obviously murder is an extreme outcome to not wanting to make payment but if everything that is being said is true they may not have been thinking straight at the time

Thank you for that info. Police were described as being 'optimistic' that it was his remains. Should be out in news shortly. Poor family!
