I am sorry to hear about your son. We just buried my Mum and it cost $7350 including a beautiful red cedar casket ( she loved red cedar - although I accept the casket was probably pine stained to red cedar!) on the other hand my cousin was married to a wonderful Italian guy and he recently passed away. His funeral was $50000 plus. Marble etc etc. Personal preferences.

Thankyou. It is a long time ago now since i saw his beautiful face & smile. I'm sorry for the loss of your Mum too,:rose: it's never easy to lose those we love.
Yes funerals aren't cheap, and wow $50,000 plus is a ton of money. But it depends on how much people can afford and sometimes even a very basic funeral costs a lot depending on finances.

No I'm pretty sure it was Weemo or Weemow.

Still sounds like some kind of lawnmowing or gardening service, doesn't it? With a cute catchy name.

Either Boscaino, or a visiting friend, or a person come to do the lawns.

Did you happen to notice if it was there a lot, or you just noticed it occasionally?

I know this may sound very controversial to some, and I almost cringe saying it, but ..... I think it might also be nice for the families of Boscaino and Dyball to give anonymous donations to the GoFundMe account. All of these families are grieving, in one way or another - but as parents, I would hope that the alleged perpetrators' families can understand how much massively harder this is for Sam's family, how their sons likely caused this huge funeral expense, how they could help a little at this time.

They are apparently all good families, and unfortunately they are all in this together. With one family significantly harder hit than the other two - in that they have permanently lost their son, never to see him again. And I can't see it harming Boscaino and Dyball's defence in any way.

A bit too left-field for some people? :dunno:
I just think it would be nice, and would like to think that I would do that if I was in their shoes.

It was there every day pretty much until a few weeks ago.

Thank you. Then it could be that you may have seen a good indication of the tradie boy's trade.
Well ... the legal trade anyway.

Absolutely not left field. If only the world worked like this..sigh... I guess if it did none of this would happen.

1st time poster (would have commented earlier but only finally figured out what i'm doing)

until end of January I lived right around the corner from RB's house for 2 years (im still in pretty close vicinity just moved in Feb).

Just Heart is correct the business name on the red ute was Weemo and was there nearly everyday (even driving behind it I couldnt not notice it with that name). Definitely was advertising on the ute tray some sort of gardening business. stopped seeing it parked in front of the driveway about end of january/february.. which to me seems it could have correlated to when the ABN changed postcodes. if this means it was RB's or a family members who resided there who knows.

tbh i never really noticed any other flashy cars consistently there tho so unsure if the above is what RB drove

Maybe that info was on SM? Comments on the Qld police FB page?

I know I have read it somewhere, too, but I don't see it in MSM either.

On a possible motive.. JMO

ST was unemployed and was able to flash his wealth cars/holidays/possessions
AD & RB seem to have been employed. Why would AD want to work in in a post office (stated back in the threads he previously worked in post office) and RB as a tradie if they were doing well enough in the drugs trade to not have to work.

Perhaps they were jealous of ST wealth, it may have got to them if they still had to slug it out.

Although, the 7th of March was a Tuesday and given the timeline of events, neither of them were at work either.

If ST believed that they were responsible for the theft last year, why would he continue to associate with them.

Was ST the supplier and RB/AD doing the on the ground selling. Did he get too big for his boots? (Not victim bashing, just thinking of a motive from the perps point of view) Maybe they were sick of this guy telling them what to do and reaping the benefits they thought they deserved.

I would love to know if they hung around socially or was it just as business associates.

Now that I think of it, I have so many questions!!!

Drb mentioned earlier today (on thread #1) that ad did some lawn maintenance work at some stage.

It would be interesting to know the association between the three? Were they friends or business related?

It would be really unusual for a lower peg(s) to do this to a higher peg. Because then there is an even higher peg to deal with. A higher peg who may be quite dangerous. imo
