This is a bit of a crazy idea, and I'm not sure how the arrested 2 would fit in but what if Sam was an escort ? Would explain the fancy clothing and goods etc. Needing to look his best when 'working' and also earning what I imagine could be good money. Maybe that's why his parents don't seem concerned about the flaunting of money. They'd rather that, then him getting the money from drugs ......

Too left field for me. The D and B families don't owe the T family anything. Parents aren't responsible for the actions of their adult children.

That's right they are not responsible for adults. I think they might be busy wondering how their murdering 🤬🤬🤬 sons are going to afford legal representation?

A finance company that put a kid in that position would make me furious. He would have to turn tricks to pay the car off. I had such a hard time extracting my brother from a finance company even with the help of the public trustee. Shameless a**holes

Shameless..yes. A former employee of ours was declared bankrupt. Not long after he was able to finance vehicles at an excruciatingly high interest rate, without one phone call to verify he was employed by our company. Sad but true..finance for vehicles is easily obtained.

Yes, I realise that some/many would feel that way. I concede that I may be very much in the minority with that one.
However, it is how I feel ... as I wish we could all work together, and support each other, especially in terrible times.
I'm not going to rush in to donate, given the floods and the general state of need in our immediate community. Sam loved animals, by doing things for them his vibe is being continued.
Peace

I doubt they will have any difficulty securing great representation.

What a lovely way to contribute for Sam, possum.

Not that it will help IMO. And Welcome to the thread, :)

Thank you. Then it could be that you may have seen a good indication of the tradie boy's trade.
Well ... the legal trade anyway.

Haha

I would of thought the Govt. is helping with that from what i have seen on the news.

Yes, as I said I'm sheltered from this stuff. I am terrified for what things will be like in 10 years when my child is faced with these things.

Especially if you are unemployed not like you have a busy schedule to attend to?

The govt can't do everything. Possum is a great carer of our native animals, does a lot for them ... on a consistent basis. And is no doubt doing much more, with the state that her countryside is in right now. Possum has a lovely heart.

What's got me stumped is that Sam must have had a reasonable explanation for having an expensive car and accessories when he reported them stolen last year. I had my car stolen from Wilston Station and police asked all kinds of questions, even if I knew who stole it? lol
Sam was 22 yrs old, he must have been queried about his finances by the police. Maybe, he won some money, like $50,000, so this was legit, but to keep up the lifestyle and being in the company of 'unsavoury friends', led him to the drug industry.
If this isn't anywhere near the truth than imo, it explains the reason why the police aren't mentioning drugs, because they would have interviewed Sam at length you would think, back in September and didn't find anything suspicious. It doesn't add up. That's my wacky theory for the night. :p

That's nice.

Ok so here is a scenario I have come up with.

RB runs his own landscaping/lawn mowing business and offers AD work which AD accepts. During this time RB and Sam are also dealing drugs together. Over time RB and Sam fall out over money and the friendship goes sour. RB was owed money by Sam and Sam laughed it off, didn't take it seriously as RB was not one to be scared of. As time goes on AD and RB have become friendlier and RB has now included AD in what he was illegally doing. RB has been said to not have been capable of harming anyone so maybe he employed AD as a standover man given his volatile nature.

RB lures Sam to his house on the day of the murder and things go sour. AD kills him but makes a mess, RB then takes over in the planning of what to do next and it all goes pear shaped from there.MOO

Sounds like as good a theory as anything else. If Sam was a good kid, it makes me wonder where and how he met the perps. I do remember a news article that said the unsavory characters were the friends of someone else Sam knew, so he would of known of them inadvertently if that's the case.

Hi Possum can I ask what part of QLD you are in? Luckily we weren't affected other than rain and lots of it but where I lived previously was hit really hard.

That is a very good theory, Seabreeze.

It is very unfortunate that Sam did not take the home invasion as seriously as he perhaps should have, and realised that things could get even worse. But if he did things 'his way', as his dad stated, he may have had quite a stubborn streak in him.

But Sam did move right after the home invasion, and then went on an overseas trip ... so perhaps he was concerned for his things, and not so much for himself. As he obviously kept up his relationship with Boscaino, whatever that relationship was.

In thread one another local confirmed sam and DB were friends already for a long period. Sam would visit DBs house regularly. So they armt new to each other.
