Your right lots of people know each other in Brisbane. Here we divide ourselves between northsiders and southsiders (bris river in middle). All three are northsiders.

In this news article it states by police that:
(quote)
Roberto Boscaino, 23 – an associate of Mr Thompson – was charged with murder and interfering with a corpse on Thursday night.
Then it states that:
(quote)
The following day, police charged a second man with the same offences – self-*professed anti-ISIS fighter Ashley Dyball.

It doesn't state that AD was known to ST at all, whereas it does state in the article that RB was an associate of ST.
I don't know how the social media stuff is relevent if someone is just following/conversing with another person on there, but IMO they would not necessarily know or have had contact with that person, just FB friends. So ST may have known of AD but had no contact with him in RL.
But RB probably knew him in RL, and talked to ST about his friend AD?

If ST was buying off RB, then he would have met AD, they may not have been friends but they certaintly would have met on many occasions.

Police have stated otherwise from what i read yesterday about any link between the two. So until more about this case comes out we will see.
But as you say "If".

Who was driving the white car and following ST? Was it RB & AD both?

I think that it has been suggested by someone in thread 1 that that video was late afternoon judging from the length of the shadows, therefore this suggests that it was possibly RB driving, followed by AD when they've moved the car. Is this too much speculation? I would find the post, but not sue how to get back to Thread 1

Not too much speculation. It's fine :seeya: You're just repeated what's been discussed.

And yes, based on the timeline of events that was on MSM (that quite a few people posted earlier) it seems like it was unlikely to be ST driving.......

And in the latest news reports LE are basically saying that Sam never left the house once he arrived......

So in light of that article and police stating they were not aware of any contact between Sam & AD, perhaps those of you out there that know different you should be giving police that information to aid in their murder investigations. Otherwise you might be perverting the course of Justice?

Yeah its pretty funny. The culture is so strong that when u are meeting a new person, they might ask you are you a northsider or southsider? You dont need to tell ppl what suburb you are actually from. Most ppl stereotypically will also attend school on the same side they live on and only associate with other ppl from other schools on the same side, and as adults some ppl wont even cross over to live on the 'other' side.

Our point is that they did NOT know each other according to police. No where does it say they did.
