The police at some stage stated they were looking for the white car in connection to Sam's disappearance. Would have to look for the articles as to when that was?

About a week after I think was when I first read about the white car?

Karinna...Can we please remain calm and not argue with one another?...We don't want this thread to be closed...

Tricia has already issued a warning for us to abide by TOS and we need to respect her wishes...

Our locals here are doing a wonderful job that is very much appreciated and we don't want to lose them.:please:

I am not violating Tricia's wishes FYI, and i am not being argumentative. I posted a link to an article and this was the retort:
SBM
I do feel as though you've taken some sort of exception to me. I could add a lot more on the ST topic but frankly one of the reasons I don't is your somewhat rude response to every little thing I say that doesn't fit your personal narrative.

All for posting a linked msm article, really? As is stated here many times if you don't like the post or poster roll & scroll on by, and i am not asking anyone to quote my posts either.
I think some of you need get things into perspective don't you?

I didnt say it was fine. Are any of you really qualified i this sort of stufd ir are tou a bunch of wanna bes who watch too much CSI??

Drb...are you having trouble with your spelling?
It can be a little confusing at times.

Could there be a link between the sawn-off shotgun in AD's possession and what looks like the same type of weapon used in Sept. home invasion (does that look like a sawn off shotgun in the video)

Welcome brisvegas! Good pick-up re the possible connection with the shotgun.

:welcome:

I just read earlier where police with the help of cadaver dogs found Sam. Haven't seen about RB's place with the dogs, but police did state it was the crime scene due to evidence found there.

Yes. Not surprised they used the dogs in the forest. It's quite expansive and very generic looking, so unless they had a precise location, you'd imagine the dogs were necessary.

I wondered more about RB's house. I was unaware but was told even if no fluids are spilled, an excellent dog can indicate on scent on say soft furnishings the body expelled gas on to (as this occurs rapidly before outward signs of decomposition).

In truth I was surprised the dogs only found one body. A few people have sadly ended up in those forests :(

As for the remains not being intact, I wonder if this is possibly due to animals if ST was only partially or shallowly buried?

Ah yes, good point. I forgot about the floor sander!

Maybe they took his body inside so there was more privacy and he bled all over the floorboards. From memory, the pics showed wooden decks at the house as you go in.

Not that a floor sander would help in the end, cracks in wood and all. I think the whole floor would have to be taken away to remove evidence of blood etc.

Yes, because they used the term 'body parts'. Full quote is in post #617 (back one page from here). I've never read MSM describe an intact body like that.

And the tomahawk may contribute to that idea, I guess. Though surely there'd be a more effective tool than a tomahawk? Maybe it's all they had on hand.

I think the tomohawk was an after the fact purchase I read? Agree on it being a less than ideal tool. Even Well sharp it'd maybe only take off small digits at best? And you'd think a garden dude would have a chain saw or electric hedge trimmer or kick butt tree saw?

Hi & Welcome, :)
It could well be. I asked about the guns that Sam and female were held up with in the home invasion, and police are looking into the connection if any?
That's why i wondered if Sam was beaten & shot? But probably not because neighbours would of heard a gunshot i would think.

Do you know if the ground is hard in that forest area, nickers? Just wondering why so shallow, and if the dogs would have found Sam if he was further into the ground. 30cm is very shallow.

I know in Karen Ristevski's case the murderer ended up placing her between logs and concealing her, we think because the ground was too hard in the forest (in Vic). A local told us how hard the ground was.

Very soft and sandy. I have walked in those tracks in heels and sunk right to the sole of the shoe!

Perhaps carpet had been damaged/soiled in the house and was being replaced?

I wondered that too. And when it was ripped up the boards were stained through hence the sander.

I think Sam may have been wrapped in the carpet for transportation, especially if the primary assault happened in the driveway as possum heard on the news. So I think it was very damaged/soiled.

Wasn't reported as found near the body. Maybe that's what they searched the landfill for? Because that's quite a chunky thing to dispose of?

I'm struck by the height of one of the home invasion perps as was posted earlier on the thread....it said 160 cm....that's VERY short for a guy. How tall was RB, does anyone know?

Police did state about the evidence in RB's house, so they did get evidence although they only specified about the acid & tomahawk. But they had enough to charge with murder, so don't know what all else they got?
Does anyone know if RB & AD's vehicles are impounded as police evidence, seeing as they would of transported ST to the place he was found?

Just further to the whole driveway thing....what if RB got into a fight with Sam and Sam fell and hit his head on the concrete, leading to his death? Maybe that was the 'accident'......as we've discussed, the behaviour of RB afterward seems to indicate it wasn't necessarily a planned murder.

(unless they really are Dumb 'n Dumber as one poster suggested......)

I've wondered similar. It seems hastily covered up so perhaps not a lot of planning. That's one of the reasons I've wondered if AD was an after the event situation. Because surely a man who disarms IEDs and removes landmines and avoids being shot has a cool head in crisis/escalating situations and has planning skills? JMO.
