Australia Australia - Sandrine Jourdan, 37, Caboolture QLD, 13 July 2012

  • #61
Hi all,

I worked with Graeme Crowley who did the Sandrine podcast linked above on some of his other cases including Who Killed Sarah Brown? and he had asked me if I was interested in looking at Sandrine's case.

We have turned it into a 6 part season AI Investigates: Sandrine Jourdan. Episode 1: Into the Silence was released this past Sunday which was the 13th anniversary of when she was last seen at the property in Caboolture.

In episode 1 we've already linked Sandrine to another woman who was murdered - Tia Landers, and after the episode aired I was given further information relating to that, that we will be exploring in futher episodes.

Both Graeme and Sandrine's sister Christine are involved in the podcast and we've had a lot of positive comments. We've also had some local media attention, which is important in getting Sandrine's story out there.

Hi all,

Just wanted to let you know that Episode 2 of AI Investigates: Sandrine Jourdan - Reading Between the Lines is now live.

In this episode, we look more closely at Sandrine’s own diaries and what they really reveal. Police treated them as proof she intended to take her own life, but when we put them through AI analysis, a very different picture emerges.

We also discuss some of the early assumptions police made in the case, including the idea that it was a “walk-off suicide” almost from day one, despite no body, no note, and witnesses reporting things like gunshots and screams. Some of the details in the files are frankly hard to believe, and they’ve sparked a lot of discussion over the years.

And for those following the broader connections, we also share new information about another woman, Jennifer Kilkenny, who disappeared just months before Sandrine.

Both Graeme Crowley and Sandrine’s sister Christine are continuing to be part of the podcast, and the response so far has been really encouraging.

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to share an update, Sandrine’s case and the podcast have been featured in a new News.com.au article this week.

The story highlights how we’ve been using AI tools to re-analyse different aspects of Sandrine’s disappearance, and it’s great to see her name reaching a wider audience again after so many years.

I’m really grateful for all the support and thoughtful discussion that’s come from this thread — it’s helped keep the focus on Sandrine and her family, which is what matters most.

If you’d like to read the piece, here’s the link: Huge update in chilling case of missing mum Sandrine Jourdan

Thanks again to everyone here who’s followed along since the start. Hopefully this added attention brings some fresh eyes and energy to her case.
