Police are desperately searching for a mother-of-three who went missing from a Sydney home on Christmas Day.

Tanya Laws, 39, was last seen at an Engadine property at 8pm on Monday.

Ms Laws, who works as a nurse at St George Hospital, has not contacted family since.

Ms Laws suffers from a medical condition so there are serious concerns for her welfare.

She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and denim shorts.

Ms Laws is believed to frequent the Engadine and Helensburgh area.

Anyone who sees Ms Laws or has information about her whereabouts is asked to contact Sutherland Police or Crime Stoppers*on 1800 333.
