I enjoyed listening to the podcast. TO. Thank you for posting about it. It hasn’t changed my opinion about Keli’s guilt or her psychopathology. I was actually thinking that the more I hear, the less I believe that Keli is innocent. Hers might turn out to be a wrongful conviction but even that eventuality will not change my mind about her being responsible for Tegan’s death. The only people who can convince me of her innocence are Tegan (and ‘Andrew’, ‘Mel’ and ‘Andrew’s mother’). It has nothing to do with her being a woman, being labelled as promiscuous, her sporting ambitions and/or career goals. Quite simply, to me, Keli’s ‘stories’ don’t make sense.
(If I was crotchety and cynical, I’d say ‘Youth is wasted on the young.’ in response to Caro and Mia finding Keli’s stories about Tegan and the circumstances surrounding her conception, pregnancy and birth believable. Maybe there is something to be said for age and wisdom in regard to understanding human nature. Of course, my sage opinion may blow up in my face one day.)
