I think I looked at that video at least 100 times wondering which was THE car. We now know the police had Toyah’s phone signals and were aligning it with car’s following the same route at the same time. Two cars fitted the bill.Way back before RS was 'wanted', who remembers looking at all the cars from the video link police provided? I think LE accounted for all the cars at that beach. MOO
Maybe the tide would have brought the phone back to the shore. I think police divers searched Lake Placid, however it is a large lake that runs out into the Barron River into the sea. Moody Creek was also searched. That is just a big dirty drain.I think I looked at that video at least 100 times wondering which was THE car. Mr Singh's blue Alfa Romeo came to the attention of police during a dragnet of more than 200 cars captured in traffic camera footage travelling through a busy intersection, north of Cairns, that afternoon.
The blue Alfa Romeo was the only car to have a detailed analysis of its movements reconstructed by police, the court heard.

Its owner never came forward.

Another car whose owner did not come forward was also identified as having travelled in the right direction within the time frame to fit the investigation criteria, the court heard.
Singh’s phone did not connect to any towers between 1.16pm and 8pm that day, but Cordingley’s phone could be tracked moving south.The jury was told Cordingley’s phone was roughly located in multiple areas that corresponded to a blue Alfa Romeo sedan seen on multiple CCTV cameras driving to Lake Placid Holiday Apartments.
If he wanted to toss her phone in water, why not just throw it in the ocean at Wangetti? Driving with it for kilometres, and even taking a detour to Lake Placid, suggests conscious decision making, rather than being the actions of a passive, terrified witness (as he claims).

More small clues revealed in Toyah Cordingley murder case
I wondered about that story. The ABC podcast yesterday states that the jury has 10 men and 2 women. Plus 3 extras who are all women. Qld does not have the ballot system for extras on a jury. The first 12 are the panel. The extras are only brought into the panel if one of the first 12 can't be there.From your link :
Jury = 10 women & 2 men
Thanks for pointing that out. I find the ABC to be reliable. I would go with what they have said: "10 men + 2 women"From your link :
Jury = 10 women & 2 men
The speed of his departure undermines credibility. If his fear was genuine, why leave behind a dependent parents, a highly dependent wife and three very young children? Protecting them should have been the first instinct. He didn’t run in fear of masked murderers. He fled to avoid accountability.Newsport | Douglas Shire News
