Is there a reason the parents found her before SES? This is the part that actually bugs me. How did they know where she was or did she go to that area a lot? And was the BF searching too or wasn’t he a BF? I feel like my brain is going in circles.

That scratch is weird in the funeral video. Only because they zoom in on it though. Very strange.

I don’t mean to post 3 times in a row but I found a GoFund me page for her BF. They were still together and they lived together. Wonder which city this house was in? Was she on her way home? If so, this may have been a normal stop.

Anyway it appears he wasn’t an ex. He was very much present and had been since 2016. Poor guy. I highly doubt he had anything to do with it.

The boyfriend Marco appears to not be a suspect.
This (older) article is paywalled - I can only quote a brief section.
‘Ms Cordingley's boyfriend Marco Heidenrich has been ruled out’

The Qld papers sure are locked up by subscriptions

Perhaps the information regarding a new BF are just rumours and people are just trying to make sense of the nonsensical.

Yes, but that was what the police said about Gerard Baden-Clay. Only to be arrested and later charged for his wife's murder several months later. I think the police keep a lot to themselves while gathering intel and can say anything to the media. OMOO

Am following this up today with locals who knew Toyah. It is weird about where she lived. Was it at Port Douglas with boyfriend, at Kewarra Beach with unknown, or with family in Cairns. Anyway if she lived with boyfriend in Port Douglas that is a very long way from where she worked at the Barr Street Markets which is on the southern side of Cairns. After she left the Rusty's Markets (in Cairns city) why would she go to Port Douglas to drop off shopping and collect dog and then back track half way to Cairns to walk the dog at Wangetti. Doesn't make sense to me. And I wonder who alerted the police of her missing. Who was expecting her before 7pm? Can imagine whoever would have done the ring around of friends and family to see if they had seen her. All so confusing. IMOO

BBM above. Did she actually do this? Or did she drop off her shopping in cairns & collect the dog, then move north? I haven't heard she went to PD first...???

It's good to hear they ruled out the (ex) boyfriend. I'd say they have good reason, such as an alibi.. perhaps? In my mind, cause i have not much else to go on, I wouldn't rule out a stranger, or even the new BF (if there is one?). There are so many people travelling that highway. It could have been opportunistic, even though most know their killer. As so many say, someone could have followed her too...

You’re right! It is a woman’s arm.
I just did a close up and it actually looks like a woman with red hair is sitting behind a man with a white shirt... the arm belonging to the man, but i have been confused about this kinda thing before (as some would know) - but it looks like a male arm to me - I might need glasses tho - apparently

I didn't mean to allude to the fact that she might have gone to PD first. I was just theorizing that if she lived with bf in Port Douglas then unless she had other clothes and dog in Cairns somewhere, she would have had to do this. Which of course I doubt. My feeling is that they may have lived in Port Douglas at some stage, but may have moved back to Cairns. Me thinketh this because of her year working at Paws and Claws in Port Douglas. She wouldn't leave a job like that unless she moved. IMHOO

Yes, I too just zoomed in and I thought it was a man's arm. But I have had 2 cornea transplants, so can't see much. Interesting to see that bf was not a pall bearer, nor seen mingling with the family. Nor anyone interesting much with the dog. Probably a silly idea, but maybe a dog whisperer could assist. If I were the family, I would go down that path, in pure desperation. Unless of course there are leads. I keep going back to the Baden-Clay case where police and family suspected husband from day 1.

Can anyone point me to the father in the funeral videos? I've seen a few pictures of him but he seems to change his look quite a bit, and I couldn't spot him.

I think, & i hope, since the police know so much more than we, they have a suspect in their sights... yes please. I'm not sure how much to read into the fact the ex/boyfriend - was not a pall bearer. There could me a plethora or reasons for such. He's been excluded. I'm hoping her family get some answers soon... just awful for them

I have also read that a GoFundMe set up using Toyah's name is a scam. I am not sure, but I think it is this one. I wonder whether MH is in on this or if his name is also being misused.
