Good point. But are they asking for northbound dashcam only? I read dashcam travelling north to Port Douglas, and also south to Ellis beach & beyond to Wangetti beach....
I would assume both iailwa.
just that post pertained to northbound dashcam.
I am only going off whats been said as opinion here. :-)

its an interesting observation they aren't looking for cairns side footage.
maybe they have plenty? but my guess would be no such thing as too much footage or information.
there must be something northbound toward port douglas of interest??

I, and many others, pointed the finger at Tom Meagher and boy were we freakin’ wrong! Tom was everywhere asking for help.
Whereas G B-Clay & B Ristevski went to ground so I hope this isn’t similar.

I like to compare precedences
I reckon the police do too tgu.
unconscious pattern behaviour brings most of them undone!;)

added later.
as for tom Meagher.
it didn't take long to knock him off the list though did it?
people who have nothing to hide.. hide nothing.
the truth flows :-)

I didn't take Meagher long to be off the list cause they could trace her mobile phone

yes, i agree, if you were anxious enough to call police, wouldnt you just take a quick drive to the beach to see if she was there, theyd see her car still in the park, and if they headed from her car along the beach calling out the dog would have barked or whined, not pointing the finger either, thats just what id do as wouldnt be able to sleep if i was that worried

I noticed on Toyah's sisters FB page that she posted a missing persons message at 6.34am. She said "PLEASE HELP FIND MY SISTER TOYAH SHE IS MISSING.
LAST KNOWN LOCATION WAS WANGETTI BEACH YESTERDAY
IF YOU HAV ANY INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT THE POLICE, ME OR MY FAMILY."

Was that the morning she was found or the day before? And if the morning she was found, how did they know she was last seen there? Who last saw her?

and then a little while later they found her, they must have headed to the beach early, just after or while posting on fb

it was the sunday morning, just before she was found, toyah must have told people/family she was going to wangetti beach after the markets so they could assume that was her last location, but really for all they knew she may have left the beach and been missing from another location, so yes good point, it sounds like they knew she was definately last there

At least 12 or 13 hours after she should have shown up at home. I guess 20/20 hindsight, but to me it’s so odd, she was out walking her/their dog at a location known by at least some family and friends and no one went looking for her. That’s the bit that sticks in my craw.

youd think at least her bf would have gone looking for her and his dog, especially when she couldnt be contacted all afternoon and night, and if youd rung all her friends etc to see if she was there, and it must have been out of character for her not to come home for them to be worried enough to call police sunday night?

im wondering if toyah went to wangetti beach every sunday with the dog, if it was a regular thing someone may have been stalking her for weeks?

Maybe MH and TC shared a vehicle so he couldn't go looking. I can deal with that bit.
But once everyone is called up, including dad, knowing she is missing out of character and night is falling, how has not one friend or her dad gone out to drive that route? Maybe dad doesn't have a car either. But someone does. Why did they wait? Did they reason if she had an accident, someone would call. Otherwise there must be someone they thought she could be with that they couldn't reach, right?
Sunset was 6:19pm that day, so it sounds like they didn't become concerned until dark, thinking she could have stayed out all day and watched the sunset. But even in the dark, don't you go retrace steps?
You'd have to not have a car.
No one that is concerned enough to come help you, yet.
Or you have a reasonable idea where or why she isn't home.
Somehow dad found her after a very short while of searching at first light the next morning, after apparently rallying enough concerned people with cars to go look. I don't know if MH was there. Was he?
The circumstances of her being found have always felt weird to me. If they had just reported her missing, why weren't LE present at the search (or were they?)

I saw that MH had a white ute on his FB page and he also had ute at Toyah's funeral because the was video of him letting dog out of ute.

I'm wondering the same. She would be very noticeable, a beautiful girl walking with a large dog. It's a very brazen attack, in daylight on a beach. I wonder if there was some planning involved or if it was a random attack.

I am guessing that family thought Toyah might have gone on to stay the night in Port Douglas and by morning they realized she hadn't. Perhaps it took that long to get in touch with everyone or MH only called them back in the morning and said Toyah wasn't with him.

I agree and more so, I think, because she had the dog with her. Usually if someone is going to head out to a friends house/out for dinner and stay the night, I would assume they would drop the dog home first.
