More than once, I'm ashamed to admit. :blushing:

Me, too..

I have also been known to approach giant, hairy bikers "Hey, could you pretend we're an item for ten minutes, so I can shake Mr Gropeyhands over there?" 100% of them said 'sure thing!", worked a treat.

.. come to think of it, I ended up dating them a couple times. The bikers, not the gropeys.

The way some people think that police just arrest people for murder - with no evidence - astounds me. :shakehead:

If that was even remotely the case, John Chardon would have been arrested for murder a long time ago.

Oh no! Please not another 60 Minutes money maker!

Ex-girlfriend Lauren Midgley told Australia's Channel 9 News he wasn't a bad person: "I don't think he would ever, ever hurt a girl."

Please!! That supposed 'ex-girlfriend' was not in a long term relationship with Tostee (as, by his own admission, he's never had one!!)

My understanding from an earlier article posted on thread was that she was one of his 'hook-ups'. She's sure milking that for all it's worth.......she's making it sound like they were in a proper relationship......

:deepbreaths::candle:

I've only known one person (in person) who was charged with a murder - and in that case, I totally had reason to believe he was guilty as sin (and was right). I kind of get how people might be disbelieving and shocked. But at what point after "police have video evidence of foul play, suspect charged" does disbelief become blatant denial. Really.

Will be interesting to see how many of his 150 conquests go to the police, lol hell hath no fury etc, I'm so glad I'm too old to be involved in dating scene, although even my single friends in their 50 s and over seem to meet so many losers.

Hello to my 'friends' from the GBC forum :)
I've been reading along but haven't really had anything to add.

I wonder if perhaps something happened that caused her to want to flee so badly that she tried to balcony hop. Balcony hopping was mentioned in the very early days. What if she was trying to climb from his unit into the one next door to get away and he lifted her hands off the railing or even pushed her , that would cause her to fall and might account for the 3 sets of screams.

....woah... so maybe he did have recording devices after all? or a canny neighbour caught it...

Also, this means the autopsy's complete. So horribly sad, her going home like this.

Ausgirl, I love our mates from across the ditch and then this happens, I'm embarrassed and so sad that one lousy fool could do this. I feel Warriena's family's pain. I'm so sorry.

Here is a thought, what if everything he recorded, and all the images were uploaded to a cloud storage or one drive type location, and the QPS has obtained access? They have stated they have a compelling case?? You don't see that sort of public display of confidence too often really.

So apparently the recordings were made on his iPhone......(bbm)

"3 News can reveal police believe the Wellington woman who died after falling from a Gold Coast balcony was trying to escape her attacker.

..............3 News can reveal police made the arrest after they discovered Tostee had audio recordings of the couple in the apartment on his iPhone. Police will allege Ms Wright fell to her death trying to escape from him."
