My God.... just been trawling FB to get a feel for 'his crowd'. Anyone wanting to gain further understanding of why, increasingly, we are becoming a self-absorbed society unable to foster & maintain loving relationships, here you will find the epicenter of doom. Is this what dating has been reduced to - 'ordering' sex on Tinder like you would a burger in a fast food drive-through?? Pardon me for breathing a sigh of relief that we don't have a daughter in this age of spy cameras, drones & smartphones!!

What is it with OKCupid today? Getting constant hits suddenly...just so weird. Going to seriously consider shutting down the account. Online dating is weird. I think I am going to give it up for good. I just wanted to meet new people around my age and unless you go out alone partying and hope to meet someone it seems so hard to do. With the night life and culture in Brisbane being so inadequate, sometimes I just don't know where to go. What has happened to the world in the last few years? In my early 20's I would go out alone and meet new people but the world feels so much less safe now.

Camp Chair, I do have a daughter.. and I have done everything in my power to instil a sense of self-respect in her (eta: and so has she! to give her some credit, lol) It's not easy, I feel young women are even more objectified now than they were in my youth.
I think it must be hard to raise boys too.

Police released a statement saying their investigation was still ongoing.

I wonder what they pulled off the friend's phone and if that has influenced such a quick charge of murder? I mean, the circumstantial evidence aginst Chardon is pretty thick, and we still have no charges for murder there.... Cross fingers they can make this case stick. I'm thinking they have something pretty solid, if it's 'murder' so fast.
